Where to find bandits in Izumi Settsu
Toneyama Post Town: best documented concentration
Head to Toneyama Post Town in the northwest of Izumi Settsu, east of the Senri Hills viewpoint. PowerPyx estimates that around 25 bandits can be found there, making it the clearest choice when you want a concentrated group rather than isolated enemies. That figure is the guide’s estimate, not an independently verified count. PowerPyx’s Out To Pasture walkthrough describes Toneyama as its strongest farming spot.
Enemy camps across Settsu: reliable follow-up targets
Once you have cleared Toneyama, look for other enemy camps marked on the Izumi Settsu map. PowerPyx describes camps as reliable bandit spawns, compared with small groups that sometimes appear in towns. The walkthrough does not provide a verified camp-by-camp ranking, so use the map to choose the nearest camp rather than treating any unlisted location as a confirmed best spot.
Eguchi Crossing: a secondary lead
Game8’s search-result extract names Eguchi Crossing along Settsu’s north border as another place to find bandits. The full guide was inaccessible when the location was reviewed, so this is a less-supported lead than Toneyama Post Town or the camp advice in PowerPyx’s walkthrough.

How to farm the 100 bandits for Out to Pasture
Out to Pasture is an Act 1 side quest in Izumi Settsu, given by a Worried Farmer. Its objective is to kill 100 bandits in Settsu and then return to speak with the farmer. PowerPyx says kills made before accepting the quest do not count, so take the quest before starting your deliberate farming route.
- Accept Out to Pasture from the Worried Farmer in Izumi Settsu.
- Travel to Toneyama Post Town and clear the bandits there.
- Check the quest progress, then clear nearby enemy camps on the map until the objective reaches 100.
- Return to the Worried Farmer and speak with them to finish the quest.
The walkthrough’s estimate of around 25 bandits at Toneyama means that location alone may not complete a 100-kill objective; continue to camps and other available groups as needed. The source does not provide an exact total for the route beyond its Toneyama estimate.

What to do when camps are empty
PowerPyx reports that cleared camps respawn after a seasonal change, not merely by fast traveling away and returning. Treat this as guide-reported behavior rather than a guarantee for every current game patch. If a camp is empty, move to another camp or location while progressing the quest; if you need to revisit a cleared camp, wait for the season to change.

Ubisoft Game Director Charles said the team did not want to “hold the player’s hand too much with icons and markers” in its January 14, 2025 exploration overview. The practical implication here is to combine map exploration with observation and scouts instead of expecting the game to mark every bandit group for you.
