For dependable progress outside Ultimate Gauntlet 2, start with Squad Battles for predictable solo rewards, use Division Rivals for repeatable competitive packs and coins, and treat Champions as the high-stakes option. Objectives and the Season Pass are the main XP engine across these modes. Gallery Objectives, Sets, SBCs, and rotating Live Events then add extra packs, tokens, Draft Tokens, player items, and Evolution consumables when their current requirements suit your squad.
FC 27’s rewards change by week, campaign, division, rank, and event rotation. The methods below explain the systems that persist, while the Campaign Hub and Objectives tab provide the current reward details before you commit matches or items.

1. Make Squad Battles your dependable solo foundation
How the scoring works
Squad Battles puts you against AI-controlled squads from the Ultimate Team community. During the weekly competition, your results generate Battle Points. Your Battle Point total determines your weekly rank, and that rank determines the rewards you receive when the competition closes.
This is the most predictable replacement for a limited-time Gauntlet when you prefer not to play online. You control the difficulty, can pause to handle real-life interruptions, and can build progress around Objectives that specify a match type, result, league, nation, or player requirement.
Use the weekly limit deliberately
Only matches inside the weekly competition allowance add to your Battle Point score. Once you have played the counted matches, further Squad Battles no longer improve that week’s rank. They still award Coins and can advance Objectives, however, so those extra games are useful when a task needs match completions, goals, assists, clean sheets, or a particular squad condition.
- Open Squad Battles and inspect the current competition panel. Note how many counted matches remain and when the weekly competition ends.
- Read your active Objectives before selecting a squad. Combine requirements where possible instead of playing separate games for each task.
- Set a difficulty you can complete consistently. A reliable result and objective completion is more valuable than repeatedly abandoning matches at a difficulty that prevents progress.
- Spend the counted matches before the deadline. Your final Battle Point total, not the number of games played after the limit, determines the weekly rank.
- Use post-limit games only for targeted progress. They remain worthwhile for Coins and Objective progress even though they cannot raise the weekly Battle Point score.
Why this route is efficient
- It supplies a weekly rank target without requiring a live opponent.
- It combines pack and Coin potential with Objective progress.
- It lets you schedule sessions around the weekly reset rather than an event-specific entry window.
- It remains useful after the competition allowance is exhausted because Coins and Objectives continue to pay.
Squad Battles rewards are rank-based, so the exact pack mix and quantity are not fixed in a general guide. Check the reward preview attached to your current rank before deciding whether another counted match is worth the time.
2. Use Division Rivals for repeatable PvP rewards
What changed in FC 27
Division Rivals is FC 27’s ongoing player-versus-player ladder. EA’s launch update says reward differences between divisions are more noticeable, Bounties return more frequently to provide Weekly Reward Points or accelerate ladder progress, and Coin availability increases. At launch, all Rivals Pack rewards are tradeable, which gives these packs a different value from untradeable rewards because unwanted cards can be sold or used to raise transfer-market funds.
A practical Rivals loop
- Check the current division track and weekly reward requirements. Record the number of wins, points, or Bounty conditions still needed.
- Build a stable squad rather than changing it after every loss. Consistent chemistry, roles, and tactics make it easier to identify whether a problem is your team or your decision-making.
- Play in short blocks. Rivals is repeatable, but continuing while tilted can turn a manageable session into a losing streak.
- Complete Bounties when they align with your normal play. Because Bounties can award Weekly Reward Points or speed ladder progress, they may be the quickest route to the next reward threshold.
- Claim the current division reward only after reviewing its tradeability and contents. Tradeable packs can be sold unopened or used to fund upgrades; player items you need may be more valuable in your squad.
When Rivals is better than Squad Battles
Choose Rivals when you want a repeatable source of competitive rewards and are comfortable with variable match difficulty. The mode also supplies Champions Qualification Points, so Rivals can serve as both a weekly reward route and a qualification route. Choose Squad Battles instead when you need predictable solo sessions or when your current Objectives are easier to complete against AI.
Manage the pressure
Rivals has no promise of a fixed pack count independent of division or the current reward track. Your practical return depends on the division you reach, the active Bounties, and the reward choice shown in the game. Set a stopping point before a session, and do not treat a single losing run as evidence that your squad cannot progress.

3. Enter Champions when you want concentrated, high-stakes rewards
Qualification routes
EA states that FC 27 players earn Champions Qualification Points through Rivals or Squad Battles to qualify for Champions. That makes Champions a destination for progress earned in either competitive or solo play, rather than a completely separate grind.
Understand the 15-match Finals format
Champions Finals use a 15-match format. Every match therefore carries more weight than a routine Rivals game, and the event is best approached with a prepared squad, a defined play style, and enough uninterrupted time to finish the run.
Reward categories
Champions rewards can include Ultimate Team Coins, additional Champions Qualification Points, and Champions Tokens. The Champions Token Store can list special Player Items, Evolutions, Packs, Player Picks, and vanity rewards. The exact inventory and the threshold for each reward are live-service details; read the current Finals and Token Store panels rather than relying on an old tier list.
Preparation checklist
- Earn enough Qualification Points through Rivals or Squad Battles before entering.
- Confirm the Finals start and end times so the 15 matches fit your schedule.
- Keep substitute options for fatigue, injuries, or Objective requirements.
- Review any active Champions or campaign Objectives before the event begins.
- Decide in advance whether a Token Store item, pack, Player Pick, or Evolution best fills your squad’s need.
Champions is not the universal best option. It has the greatest skill and time pressure of the routes listed here, but it can concentrate several reward types into one event for players who qualify and enjoy competitive play.

4. Build XP through Objectives and the Season Pass
The numbers that matter
EA’s FC 27 launch update says eligible matches award between 15 and 100 Season Points depending on the result and mode, with a maximum of 850 Season Points per day. Objectives also award Season Points and other listed rewards, and Season Pass progress is shared across supported modes.
Season Points are the closest equivalent to a universal XP currency in this system. Because the amount varies by mode and result, the fastest route is not necessarily the mode with the highest single-match value: it is the combination of eligible matches and Objectives you can complete without wasting games.
Prioritize Objectives by overlap
- Open the Objectives tab before playing. Sort the list mentally into match-based tasks, squad-building tasks, and event-specific tasks.
- Identify overlapping conditions. For example, if one task asks for matches with a particular league and another asks for assists, use one squad and count both at once.
- Choose the mode that satisfies the most conditions. Squad Battles may be safer for goals or clean sheets; Rivals may be required for player-versus-player wins; a Live Event may be mandatory for a campaign task.
- Track the daily Season Point total. Once you reach 850 points for the day, additional eligible matches will not add more points until the cap resets, although they may still provide other mode rewards and Objective progress.
- Return for dynamic tasks before their end time. Dynamic Objectives are limited-time and tied to campaigns, events, or other in-game activities.
Use the shared progression intelligently
Because Season Pass progress is shared across supported modes, you can change activities without abandoning the same progression track. A player who starts with Squad Battles for reliable matches can move to Rivals for Bounties, then complete a campaign Live Event, while each eligible activity contributes to the same Season Pass when its panel says it qualifies.

Do not assume every match or every event awards Season Points. The eligible-match label and the current Objective wording control. The 15–100 range and 850-point daily ceiling are launch-update figures, not a guarantee that every mode pays the same amount.
5. Claim Gallery Objectives and grade Sets for additional rewards
What the Gallery can award
Gallery Objectives and Sets add a collection-focused route that does not depend solely on weekly match ranks. EA’s FUT Deep Dive lists experience, Season Pass experience, tokens, Player Items, Packs, Draft Tokens, and Evolution consumables among the possible rewards. You earn these by grading Sets and reaching Gallery milestones.
Progress is not lost when an item leaves your club
Gallery progress can continue after an item is sold on the Transfer Market or submitted into an SBC. That matters when you are deciding whether to keep a low-rated card for a future milestone. Check the Gallery progress indicator first; if the item has already counted toward the relevant milestone, selling or submitting it does not erase that recorded progress.
A safe Gallery workflow
- Open Gallery Objectives and inspect every active Set. Note the exact item categories, ratings, leagues, nations, or campaign tags required.
- Check your club before buying anything. Duplicate and low-demand items may already satisfy several grades.
- Submit only after confirming the reward and milestone. Some cards have value in an SBC, Evolution, or future Objective.
- Record milestone progress. Gallery rewards may arrive at several thresholds rather than in one completion bundle.
- Recheck after content rotates. Set requirements and reward lists are live and can change with campaigns.
Gallery rewards complement, rather than replace, match modes. They are especially useful when your squad contains surplus cards and you want packs or tokens without spending another full match session.
6. Use Streamlined SBCs and the Campaign Hub to find current opportunities
How Streamlined SBCs differ
FC 27 introduces Streamlined SBCs. Eligible items contribute toward a target score across multiple submissions instead of requiring one traditional full squad submission. This structure can make gradual club management more useful: you can submit qualifying items as you acquire them, monitor the target, and avoid building an entire squad in one transaction.

Use Campaign Hub as your content dashboard
The Campaign Hub groups current Objectives, SBCs, Evolutions, Gallery Sets, Live Events, and related campaign content. It is the quickest way to see which activities are active now instead of relying on a screenshot or reward list from an earlier week.

- Return after completing a milestone. A new Objective, Set, or SBC may unlock and change your optimal route.
7. Watch rotating Live Events without relying on one Gauntlet
What can rotate
EA says Online and Single Player Live Events rotate throughout the season and connect to campaigns through themed squads, entry requirements, and rewards. Tournaments, Gauntlets, Exhibitions, and single-player events return in the broader event system. Ultimate Gauntlet 2 is therefore one event in a changing schedule, not the only place to earn campaign progress.
How to evaluate an event before entering
- Mode: decide whether the event is Online or Single Player.
- Entry rules: check squad rating, player-item, chemistry, league, nation, or campaign requirements.
- End time: Dynamic Objective availability and event end times vary.
- Reward type: verify whether the panel lists Packs, Tokens, Draft Tokens, Player Items, Evolutions, or Season Points.
- Eligibility: confirm that matches count toward the Objectives or Season Pass tasks you are pursuing.
Do not assume a new event has the same reward structure as a previous Gauntlet. Open the current Campaign Hub and Objectives panels immediately before committing a squad or spending consumables.

Session start: inspect the live content
Begin with Campaign Hub, Objectives, Gallery, and the current mode reward panels. Mark tasks that expire soon, then identify one squad that can satisfy several requirements. This prevents you from playing a mode that pays no relevant Objective progress while a time-limited task is active elsewhere.
Early week: secure predictable progress
Play enough Squad Battles competition matches to establish the weekly Battle Point score you can realistically maintain. Use the same sessions to complete solo Objectives. If the weekly limit is reached, switch to post-limit matches only when their Coins or Objective progress justify the time.
Middle of the cycle: add Rivals or qualification progress
Play Rivals in controlled blocks to pursue division rewards, Bounties, and Champions Qualification Points. Stop when you have met the current weekly requirement or when concentration drops. If your goal is Champions, keep a visible Qualification Point target rather than entering Finals prematurely.
Event window: complete the highest-value rotation
Use the Campaign Hub to select a Live Event, Gallery Set, or SBC whose reward fills a specific need. Finish short-duration content before permanent-looking tasks, because Dynamic Objectives and Live Events can disappear at their stated end time.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Playing after a Squad Battles limit expecting a higher rank
Matches after the weekly competition allowance do not add Battle Points. Continue only for Coins or Objectives.
Assuming every pack is tradeable
EA specifically states that Rivals Pack rewards are tradeable at launch. Do not extend that statement to Squad Battles, Champions, Objectives, Gallery, SBC, or Live Event packs unless the current reward panel marks them tradeable.
Using a card needed for another milestone
Before submitting an item to an SBC or Set, inspect active Gallery, Objective, and Evolution requirements. Streamlined SBCs make multiple submissions possible, but they do not make every card disposable.

Trusting an old event guide
Reward contents, Token Store inventory, Objective groups, and Live Event availability rotate. The in-game Campaign Hub and Objectives tab are the authoritative current view.
Entering Champions without a completion plan
Finals contain 15 matches. Confirm the event window, squad depth, and available time before starting so the format does not become an avoidable source of abandoned progress.
Choosing the best route for your situation
- You play offline: make Squad Battles your weekly base, then add Gallery Objectives, Sets, SBCs, and single-player Live Events.
- You want tradeable packs: prioritize Rivals, whose Pack rewards are tradeable at FC 27 launch, and check the current division reward preview.
- You want the most Season Pass progress: combine eligible matches with Objectives, monitor the 850-point daily cap, and use shared progression across supported modes.
- You want qualification and high-stakes rewards: earn Champions Qualification Points through Rivals or Squad Battles, then prepare for the 15-match Finals.
- You have surplus club items: inspect Gallery Sets and Streamlined SBCs before buying players or discarding duplicates.
- You are chasing a campaign item: open Campaign Hub first and follow the currently active Live Event or Dynamic Objective rather than assuming Ultimate Gauntlet 2 is still optimal.
The strongest all-purpose plan is to use Squad Battles for reliable weekly progress, Rivals for repeatable tradeable rewards and qualification, Objectives for Season Points, and Gallery, SBC, and rotating event content whenever its live requirements match your club. That combination earns packs and XP without depending on one Gauntlet’s availability or reward table.
