These are different play loops, not two versions of the same game: the first centers on interactive adventures and minigames, while the second centers on photography and scrapbook-making. Happy Snaps’ advertised features are publisher announcements, not play-tested observations.

Choose The Videogame for active group play now
Bluey: The Videogame is the practical pick if your household wants a game today, particularly if several people want to play on one system. Outright Games describes four interactive adventures across recognizable settings including the Heeler home, the Creek, playgrounds, and the beach. Its launch announcement lists show-inspired minigames such as “Keepy Uppy,” “Ground is Lava,” “Magic Xylophone,” and “Chattermax Chase.”

The publisher’s current game page also describes solo and co-op play and notes a free update with easier navigation and changes to minigames. Wait for Happy Snaps if photos and collecting sound more appealing
Bluey’s Happy Snaps is built around Bluey and Bingo finding Dad’s old camera and exploring the family home and places around Brisbane. The announced activities include taking photos, decorating scrapbooks, and uncovering surprises. Named locations include the ferry to The Park, South Bank, and the lookout seen in “The Sign”; the announcement also mentions wildlife such as lorikeets and koalas.
The official overview says players can collect “hundreds of stickers and decorations” and that a second player can join. It does not establish a more exact collectible count or four-player mode. Check platform and purchase format before deciding
The announced platform lists overlap on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Happy Snaps’ announcement additionally lists Nintendo Switch 2. Confirm the exact version on your platform’s store rather than assuming every edition is available in every region.
Physical copies of Happy Snaps are planned for selected console platforms in select markets, so a physical edition is not guaranteed where you live. The Videogame had a console release, but present-day stock and editions can vary. Check the local retailer or platform storefront for the edition, seller, and availability you intend to buy.

- Check your system first if you own a Switch 2 or want a physical copy: Happy Snaps lists Switch 2, while its physical release is limited to selected platforms and markets.
