Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front launched on Apple’s App Store in 2010, but historical launch coverage does not confirm that it is still available to download. Its current status is unresolved: check your region’s App Store and Apple or Gameloft support before assuming you can install it.
What the original App Store announcement meant
The headline refers to the launch-era release of Gameloft’s World War II mobile first-person shooter, not a new arrival. GameFAQs records a US iPhone release on February 22, 2010, followed by an iPad HD release on April 27, 2010. These are catalogued historical dates, not evidence of a live store listing. GameFAQs’ release record lists Gameloft as the developer and publisher.
At launch, iMore reported a price of $7.99. That was the price reported at the time, not a current price or an indication that the game remains purchasable. iMore’s launch coverage described the App Store release.
Is Brothers in Arms 2 still available to download?
There is no confirmed current App Store listing in the available official information, and no definitive removal or redownload notice. That means it is not possible to say that the game is downloadable now—or that it has been removed everywhere. App availability can vary by country and account history, so search the App Store in your region and consult Apple or Gameloft if the listing does not appear. An old article announcing a launch cannot establish present-day availability.

What the game offered at release
Campaign
The preserved product description advertised five locations and 13 levels: the Pacific, Normandy, North Africa, Germany, and Sicily. These are details from historical store copy, not a current product listing or a firsthand assessment.
Multiplayer and vehicles
The same description listed Free For All, Team Deathmatch, and Domination, with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi play. It also described vehicle sequences involving a tank, an off-road vehicle, and a glider. Those advertised features do not establish that multiplayer servers or any particular connection method still work today.

The later Free+ edition was a separate historical release
In 2011, Gameloft referred to Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front Free+ as an App Store title and distinguished its payment model from that of Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation. The announcement does not establish current availability or current in-app purchase terms. Gameloft also reported that Free+ had reached fourth place among free applications in Europe, the United States, Australia, and Japan; that was the publisher’s ranking report at the time, not a current chart position. Gameloft’s 2011 announcement provides those historical details.

In 2010, Gameloft said it had sold more than 20 million paid games since the App Store opened in July 2008. This was a company-wide figure, not sales for Brothers in Arms 2. Gameloft’s announcement attributes the number to the publisher as a whole.
