London Drugs currently lists the Nintendo Switch 2 System for C$679.99, but you must select a store or enter a postal code to see local availability. The listing alone does not confirm stock or pickup.
Can you still preorder the Nintendo Switch 2 at London Drugs?
No. The Switch 2 launched on June 5, 2025, so a current London Drugs product listing should be treated as a retail listing—not evidence that pre-orders are open. Nintendo’s April 2, 2025 announcement gave the console’s release date.

Features and storage
Nintendo lists three ways to play: handheld, tabletop, and TV-connected. The console has a 7.9-inch touch LCD and 256 GB of internal storage; the retailer page also lists support for up to 120 fps. These are product specifications, not independent performance-test results.

Using games from the original Switch
Switch 2 supports compatible physical and digital Nintendo Switch games, but Nintendo notes that some titles may not be supported or fully compatible. Check Nintendo’s compatibility information for the specific games you own before relying on them. Nintendo’s official Switch 2 page provides compatibility guidance.
