You generally cannot get all six official Fallout 4 expansions for free through a supported route. You may be able to download content at no extra cost if you already own it, and Bethesda has offered certain Creation Club items for free. Those offers are separate from the official expansions.
What counts as Fallout 4 DLC?
Bethesda lists six official add-ons: Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the three Workshop expansions. Creation Club items are a different category of content. Bethesda’s Anniversary Edition support page says that edition includes the base game, the six add-ons, and more than 150 Creation Club items.

Bethesda also announced five specific Creation Club items as free for all Fallout 4 players starting November 10, 2025: Morgan’s Space Suit, Doom Classic Marine Armor, Doom BFG, Quake Thunderbolt, and the Fantasy Hero Set. That announcement applies to those named creations; it does not make the six official expansions free. See Bethesda’s Anniversary Edition announcement.
Legitimate ways to get content without paying again
Check your existing purchases and editions
If you previously purchased an add-on, Season Pass, Game of the Year edition, or bundle that included it, your account may already have the entitlement. Check your platform’s purchase history and Fallout 4 add-on library, then download the content from that account. Store listings show products for sale, but cannot confirm what a particular account owns. For example, the Steam listing and PlayStation listing present DLC and Season Pass offerings separately.

Claim free Creations only while they are marked free
Check the in-game Creations menu or your platform’s store and confirm the item is still listed at no cost before downloading. A January 2026 report described four additional free Creations across Xbox, Windows PC, and PlayStation, but their names and availability as of October 8, 2026 are not established here. Do not assume that an item remains free based on an older report.
Do not assume a subscription includes the expansions
A PlayStation Store page lists Fallout 4 as accessible through the PlayStation Plus Extra Game Catalog: check the listing for your region. That listing does not establish that the six add-ons are included, and catalog access depends on the subscription and current catalog terms. Verify each add-on separately; access to the base game through a subscription is not proof of permanent ownership.

How to get all six official expansions
If you want the official expansions, Bethesda’s supported bundle route is to acquire the Anniversary Edition or, if you own standard Fallout 4, the Anniversary Edition Upgrade. Bethesda describes the edition as including the base game and all six add-ons, and says the Upgrade provides the six expansions plus more than 150 Creation Club items. These are products to acquire, not free giveaways. Check the current store listing for your platform and region before purchasing: Bethesda support and the Anniversary Edition announcement.
