No—buying Avowed now cannot give you the early access that came with its Premium Edition in 2025. That window began on February 13, five days before the game’s February 18 launch, and has passed. CDKeys may list Avowed digital codes, but stock, price and activation eligibility depend on the specific listing and region.
When did Avowed early access begin?
Obsidian announced that Avowed would launch on February 18, 2025, with Premium Edition buyers able to start up to five days earlier, beginning February 13. This was a dated edition benefit, not an ongoing feature of a CDKeys code. Obsidian’s November 14, 2024 announcement described the launch platforms and Game Pass option at the time; Xbox Wire’s launch announcement later detailed the Premium Edition contents.
What Premium Edition included
At launch, Premium Edition included the base game, up to five days of early access, two Premium Skin Packs, and access to the digital artbook and original soundtrack. Those extras do not make early access available after its February 2025 window.
What can a CDKeys Avowed listing offer now?
A CDKeys listing can offer a digital game code if that particular product is in stock and eligible for activation where you are. The retrieved listings included an Avowed Premium Edition for Xbox Series X|S and PC and a Steam Standard Edition; both showed out-of-stock status in the checked results. The Steam listing specified US activation eligibility. These are listing-specific details, not a guarantee of current stock or price. Check these details before checkout
- Platform and storefront: Confirm the code is for the platform and storefront you intend to use, rather than assuming an Xbox/PC listing is interchangeable with Steam or another version.
- Activation region: Read the region restriction on the exact product page and make sure it matches your account and location.
- Stock and total cost: Check that the code is actually available, then compare the current checkout total with the relevant official storefront and any Game Pass option available to you.
- Edition extras: Decide whether the digital artbook, soundtrack and skin packs are worth paying extra for; early access is no longer a reason to choose Premium.
Which platforms and prices should buyers check?
Obsidian’s November 2024 announcement named Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on Windows, Battle.net, Steam and cloud, and said the game would be available on day one through Xbox Game Pass. That was launch-era information, not a complete current platform list. Obsidian announced a PlayStation 5 version in January 2026, with announcement prices of $49.99 for Standard Edition and $59.99 for Premium Edition. Those are historical announcement prices, not a promise of today’s price or a universal price across regions. Check the current PlayStation 5 announcement and your local storefront for current availability and cost.
For context, Obsidian announced a $69.99 Digital Standard Edition price in 2024. That is also a historical figure and should not be treated as a current comparison price. Compare the live price for the version and region you can actually buy.

How to choose a purchase route
Compare the options on compatibility, activation requirements and present-day value—not on the expired early-access window. Official storefronts and Game Pass may be alternatives depending on your platform, region and subscription access; CDKeys is another possible digital-code source when a compatible listing is available. Check what each route currently offers before deciding, since price, stock and eligibility can change.
