Why players expect to find Johnny’s Arm
The item record describes Silverhand’s Arm as a miscellaneous item and a virtual representation of Johnny Silverhand’s cyberware arm. Before Patch 1.3, players could reportedly pick it up at Johnny’s alleged grave in the Northern Oil Fields during “Chippin’ In.” That location should not be treated as a current vanilla pickup: the historical acquisition method no longer works as an ordinary reward.

What Patch 1.3 does—and does not—confirm
CD Projekt Red published its Patch 1.3 change list on August 17, 2021, and announced the update as live on PC, consoles, and Stadia on August 18, 2021. The official notes do not specifically mention Silverhand’s Arm. They establish when the patch arrived, but they do not document the item’s removal or explain why it stopped appearing. The acquisition history comes from a community-maintained item record, rather than an arm-specific official explanation.
Can a command or mod add it?
The item record says a console command can add Johnny’s Arm, but warns that a command-added copy has lost its former functionality. Treat this as an unofficial, version-sensitive route—not a dependable way to obtain a usable piece of cyberware. A later community discussion also reports that the item is hidden or exists for scripted use, but that does not establish an official explanation or a fix that works across current versions and platforms.
