Which version should you choose?
Choose Steam if you want the listed PC features
Steam is the clearest fit if you want PC play, Steam Deck support, or its listed online PvP, co-op, and Remote Play Together options. Steam marks the game Steam Deck Verified. Its current user-review snapshot is also strong: Steam showed 95% positive from 6,281 English reviews when accessed in 2026, labeling that language-specific score “Overwhelmingly Positive.” This is user-review data, not a critic aggregate, and both the percentage and count can change (Steam).
Choose Switch if you prefer Nintendo hardware
The Switch listing specifies one-to-two-player single-system play and one-to-eight-player online play, and Nintendo says the game behaves consistently with Switch 2. A Switch-focused review is available from Nintendo Life; consult it for a critic’s assessment of that release rather than treating Steam’s user score as a cross-platform review verdict.

Xbox is listed, but compare the store details
The official site lists Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass. The available platform information here does not establish Xbox-specific mode details, performance comparisons, or current Game Pass availability, so confirm those on the relevant Xbox store before choosing.

A limited Nintendo Switch cartridge edition was released by Super Rare Games on June 6, 2024; its product page marks the standard edition sold out. A Deluxe edition is also marked sold out and included a cartridge, artbook, soundtrack CD, manual, stickers, trading cards, and a collector box (standard edition; Deluxe edition). Those pages confirm the editions existed, not that they are currently available from another seller. Verify stock, region, and seller before buying a physical copy.

Nintendo’s US listing currently names four paid add-on packs: Cosplay Pack, Pier of the Unknown, Fashion Pack, and Wings Pack. The same listing gives the content rating as Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and In-Game Purchases. Steam’s percentage reflects English-language user reviews on that storefront at a particular time; it is not a critics’ score or a platform-wide rating. Nintendo Life provides a critic review of the Switch release. If that mechanic sounds engaging, compare the platform-specific play modes and edition details above; if you need a verdict on narrative quality or technical performance, use a review that explicitly evaluates those aspects on your chosen platform.
