You can claim the commemorative Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 desk mat by spending at least your local qualifying amount in an official Warhammer Store during Warhammer Day weekend, 31 October–1 November 2026. The mat is free after you qualify, but postage is extra and the claim is completed online rather than handed over at the till. You must enter the receipt code within one week and redeem the emailed merchandise code by 8 November 2026. Stocks are limited, and the offer is restricted to one mat per customer.
What is the Space Marine 2 desk-mat promotion?
Games Workshop is marking Space Marine 2 passing 15 million unique active players with a commemorative PC desktop gaming mat. The promotion is available through official Warhammer Stores during the two-day Warhammer Day weekend. The announcement and terms are published by Warhammer Community (23 October 2026).

The design shows Lieutenant Titus standing victorious over slain Tyranids, with the Ultramarines 2nd Company standard raised behind him. It is a single commemorative design; the official instructions do not describe alternative mat models.
How much do I need to spend?
Your purchase must meet the threshold for the country in which you shop, in one transaction, between 31 October and 1 November 2026. The currency amounts are local qualifying thresholds, not a global conversion of one fixed price.

Any merchandise purchase can count; you do not have to buy Space Marines. The requirement is the qualifying total on a single receipt, so separate transactions should not be assumed to combine.
How do I redeem the mat after buying?
Redemption has two online stages. The mat is not collected immediately at the store counter.

What will I pay, and what limits apply?
Games Workshop states: “There is no charge for the mat itself, you’ll just need to pay postage.” Shipping therefore varies by destination and is added during the online redemption process. The offer is limited to one mat per customer and is available only while stocks last; meeting the spending threshold does not guarantee that inventory remains.

Before you travel
- Check the official Warhammer Store Finder for the participating shop and its opening hours.
- Contact the store directly to confirm local participation and remaining availability.
- Check holiday arrangements if you are visiting Germany: the announcement warns that some stores in parts of the country may be closed because 31 October is a national holiday.
What is the safest way to plan the claim?
Choose a store first, verify its hours and stock, then make one purchase comfortably above the local threshold so the receipt total is unambiguous. Photograph or retain the receipt, submit its code promptly rather than waiting for the one-week limit, and allow time for the emailed code and postage checkout before 8 November. If the receipt code fails, contact the store with the receipt details instead of making a second purchase and assuming it will qualify.
Can I buy the mat without visiting a store?
The published promotion ties eligibility to an in-store purchase during the specified weekend. It does not announce a standalone retail listing or a mail-order route that bypasses the qualifying transaction, so online marketplace availability should not be assumed.

Frequently Asked Questions

No additional versions are described in the official announcement. The stated commemorative artwork is the Titus-and-Tyranids scene with the Ultramarines 2nd Company standard.
Will postage be the same in every country?
No. The mat itself has no charge after qualification, while delivery is calculated by destination during the Warhammer Merch order. The announcement does not publish a universal postage price.

What happens if my local store is closed that weekend?
A closed shop cannot complete the qualifying in-store transaction, so check another official location through the Store Finder and confirm participation before going. This is particularly important in parts of Germany affected by the 31 October holiday.
Can two people use one receipt to claim two mats?
The offer is stated as one mat per customer, and each claim uses a unique receipt code. Plan on separate qualifying purchases and separate eligible customers rather than sharing one receipt.
