How to use Ballaro’s skills
Ballaro rotates the Bestial Wheel in reverse, so check which mask is coming next before choosing a skill. The guide identifies Abbest Wind with the Agile position and its tempo utility, Troubadour Trumpet as the party-buff option, and Contorsionniste Blast as a recovery choice. Ballaro’s upgraded-skill and Almighty effects can also provide AP to allies once the relevant weapon upgrade thresholds are reached.
That makes Ballaro a flexible choice when you want Monoco to help maintain party momentum rather than commit every turn to a high-damage attack. The exact skill choice still depends on the mask sequence and the immediate needs of the encounter.

Joyaro: a more demanding damage alternative
For an Almighty-focused damage setup, the guide recommends Joyaro. Its core attacks are Duallist Storm, Sakapatate Fire, and Lampmaster Light; Benisseur Mortar can help return Monoco to Almighty against a Marked target.
This route asks more of the player: plan how to return to Almighty Mask and avoid damage. Effects that reward avoiding hits can raise the build’s damage potential, but missed reactions make that approach less forgiving than Ballaro’s support role.

Choose the build around your team
Monoco’s flexibility makes Ballaro useful in a party that needs additional support. In the team framing offered by the guide, Lune can provide elemental damage or healing, Maelle remains the main single-target payoff, and Monoco can fill gaps with buffs, debuffs, healing, AP, and weakness coverage.
Choose between the builds by considering the role you need Monoco to fill, access to the relevant weapon and mask, how reliably you avoid damage, and whether the party needs more AP or healing. Ballaro is the more flexible support recommendation; Joyaro is for players deliberately pursuing a damage loop and willing to manage its execution demands. The cited guide provides recommendations rather than controlled performance testing or an official ranking, so neither option is established as universally best for every encounter.
