Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released on April 24, 2025, so this is a buying guide rather than a pre-order guide. The core choice is straightforward: Standard includes the full base game, while Deluxe adds cosmetic items. Physical collectibles and the artbook are separate products, not extra game editions. Availability and pricing vary by country and platform, so check the live listing for your region before buying.
What’s included in each game edition?
| Edition | What you get | Platforms and format |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | The full base game. | Bandai Namco’s shop lists PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S filters and physical and digital options. Confirm the platform and country in the storefront; a listing does not guarantee stock. Bandai Namco shop |
| Deluxe Edition | The base game, the Flowers Collection, Maelle’s “Clair” custom outfit and Gustave’s “Obscur” custom outfit. | PlayStation’s US listing describes these inclusions. Check the relevant platform and regional store for the version available to you. PlayStation US listing |
Does the Standard Edition include the full game?
Yes. Standard is the base game, not a demo or a partial campaign. The publisher shop lists it in physical and digital formats, though the exact options depend on the storefront, platform and country.

Is the Deluxe Edition worth it?
It depends on whether you want the cosmetic items. The researched edition descriptions identify the Deluxe extras as outfits, hairstyles and outfit variations; they do not describe additional story content or gameplay features. Choose Standard if you only want the base game. Choose Deluxe if you also want the listed cosmetics, after comparing the current price difference in your own region and platform store.
Is there a physical edition?
Yes. Bandai Namco’s shop lists physical and digital Standard Edition options, with country and platform filters. The existence of a product page does not establish current inventory, and the available physical format may differ by region. Check the live shop page for your country and platform before ordering. The Art of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
UDON Entertainment and Pix’n Love announced an English-language standard hardcover and a limited collector’s box set. The standard book is described as a 352-page, full-color hardcover. The collector’s edition adds a gold-ink cover, gold cardboard slipcase, gold-plated medal, portfolio, ten textured-paper prints and a deluxe-finish box. It is a companion book, not a game edition. UDON announcement
The announcement gave a March 23–May 6, 2026 preorder window and a November 2026 publication month, but its overview and detailed specifications disagree on whether the date is November 24 or November 25. It named the UDON Store, Pix’n Love Store and IGN Store as outlets. Because the stated preorder window has passed, check those publishers’ current listings for availability, confirmed release timing and shipping to your country.

- Explore a fantasy world inspired by Belle Époque France in which you battle devastating enemies.
How should you compare current listings?
- Match the platform first: PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S listings may differ.
- Check whether the listing is physical or digital; do not assume a format is available in every country.
- Compare the current total price in your region, including any delivery costs for physical products.
- Confirm the exact contents on the platform’s own listing, especially for cosmetic bundles.
- Treat a visible product page or generic “Preorder” prompt as a listing, not proof of current stock or an open preorder.
Prices are volatile. PlayStation’s US page displayed Standard at $45.19 and Deluxe at $53.09 when checked for this guide; its displayed lowest prices in the previous 30 days were $37.49 and $47.99 respectively. These are US storefront figures, not universal prices or guaranteed current prices. Check the live US PlayStation listing.
