Goblu is a mandatory boss at the end of Flying Waters, in the Flower Field. Focus on lightning damage, destroy its summoned flowers with free aim before it can absorb them, and wait out the delayed third strike in its party-wide jump attack. If you are unsure of the parry timing on its high overhead slam, dodge instead.
Where to find Goblu
Goblu is the second mandatory boss, encountered at the end of Flying Waters. Follow the route past the Flower Field flag; the path leads into a cavern and a cutscene that starts the fight. Gamepressure and Expedition33.gg both place the encounter there.

How to damage Goblu
Lean on lightning
Expedition33.gg identifies Goblu as vulnerable to lightning and recommends Lune’s Thunderfall and Gustave’s Overcharge. Destroy the flowers as soon as they appear
When Goblu summons flowers, use free aim to shoot their weak spots. The guides warn that leaving them alive lets Goblu absorb their power: Gamepressure says this grants armor and permanently adds hits to its combo, while Expedition33.gg also describes the flowers as a source of healing. Break through armor with multi-hit attacks

How to defend against Goblu’s attacks
Party-wide three-hit jump slam
Goblu jumps and slams the ground three times, targeting the whole party. The third impact is delayed compared with the first two, so do not treat the sequence as evenly spaced: hold your final dodge or parry until that last strike is about to land. Gamepressure

Arm combo
When Goblu jumps toward a character and attacks with its arms, defend against the hits in sequence. Gamepressure describes the combo as rhythmic; it begins with two hits and grows longer after Goblu absorbs flower power. Clearing the flowers therefore also helps keep this pattern shorter. High overhead slam
Goblu can jump high, somersault, and slam into one character. Gamepressure notes that the parry window falls at impact and can feel unintuitive. Choose a dodge if you cannot reliably read that timing; attempt a parry only if you are comfortable with the impact cue. Gamepressure
