How the five Wizard Evo decks differ
Giant with Hero Mini P.E.K.K.A and Sparky
The most-listed option in this snapshot pairs Giant with Hero Mini P.E.K.K.A and Sparky, with Tornado, Vines and two Evolutions (Wizard and Zap) in support. Its linked page shows 55% wins across 7,532 recorded games. That figure is descriptive, not a promise of performance in your own matches.
Hero Giant with Mini P.E.K.K.A and Skeletons
This Hero Giant variant swaps in Mini P.E.K.K.A and Skeletons while retaining Heal Spirit, Sparky and Tornado. Its 3.4 average elixir is the lowest of the five listed options, and its linked page reports 56% wins across 7,475 recorded games.

Giant with Skeleton Army Evolution
This Giant build uses Skeleton Army Evolution and regular Zap rather than the first deck’s Zap Evolution. The linked page reports 49% wins across 1,492 recorded games, the lowest listed rate here; the snapshot alone cannot explain why.
Hero Giant with Hero Mini P.E.K.K.A
This variant combines Hero Giant and Hero Mini P.E.K.K.A, with Tornado, Vines and regular Zap alongside Wizard Evolution. Its linked page reports 53% wins across 3,844 recorded games.

Elixir Golem and Skeleton King
The outlier changes the win condition to Elixir Golem and adds Goblin Curse, Night Witch, Rage, Skeleton King, Void and Skeleton Army Evolution. Its linked page reports 57% wins, but across only 390 recorded games—the smallest sample among these five—so that percentage is particularly uncertain.
Which deck should you choose?
- For the most visible options: Start by comparing the Giant and Hero Giant builds. They had the two largest listed battle counts and shares in this snapshot.
- For a different pressure style: Consider the Elixir Golem/Skeleton King list, while keeping its smaller recorded sample in mind.
- For a familiar support core: Compare how each Giant variant uses Sparky, Hero Mini P.E.K.K.A, Tornado, Vines, Skeletons or Skeleton Army Evolution, and Zap or Zap Evolution.
- For a quick-cycle preference: The Hero Giant/Mini P.E.K.K.A/Skeletons option has the lowest published average elixir in this group. Average elixir is only one comparison point; it does not establish how a deck will perform for you.
RoyaleAPI’s battle counts and deck-page win rates are snapshots, not controlled head-to-head tests. The tracker data does not establish that all entries share the same modes, player skill, card levels or matchup conditions, so avoid treating a small difference between percentages as proof that one deck is better.

How Wizard Evolution activates
To use Wizard Evolution, equip it in an Evolution Slot or Wild Slot. The card charges through its required play cycle; after it is charged, the next time you play the card, it appears in evolved form. Supercell says six Evolution Shards unlock a specific Evolution. See Supercell’s Card Evolutions guide and Evolution Shards guide for the mechanics.
September 2026 balance changes to know
Supercell’s September 2026 balance notes changed Wizard’s damage from 281 to 304, its first-attack time from 0.4 to 0.5 seconds, and Wizard Evolution’s shield hitpoints from 192 to 176. The notes say the values are scaled at Level 11 and that base-form changes usually also affect Evolution and Hero forms. These are September 2026 patch values, not timeless stats. The Clash Royale Team explained: “Wizard was too dependent on his Evolution and Hero forms to have his own impact on the Arena.” Read the September 2026 balance notes.
