Check the River Race in-game first: Clan Wars has weekly rotating special modes, and Triple Elixir may or may not be the current one. If it is available, use recent Triple Elixir Battle rankings as a shortlist, then choose a deck that fits your card levels and has a clear win condition plus answers to both air and ground pushes.
Is Triple Elixir currently a Clan Wars mode?
Clan Wars modes rotate, so the title of a deck list cannot establish what is playable right now. Supercell’s River Battle(s) support page says, “Every week, a different special Game Mode will appear in the River Race!” It lists current Clan War battle types including Boat Battle, Duel, 1v1, and weekly rotating game modes. Check the River Race screen in Clash Royale before choosing a deck; do not assume Triple Elixir is active.

Triple Elixir Battle rankings are still useful for finding candidate decks, but they describe a 1v1 Triple Elixir Battle listing, not a guarantee of a Clan Wars rotation or its exact rules. Supercell also notes that special events and modes can use different Elixir rules, so do not infer a mode’s timing from the standard battle clock. Confirm the event rules shown in-game.
How to choose a Triple Elixir deck
- Confirm the format. Check the River Race mode and its in-game rules. A Triple Elixir Battle list is a starting point only if the active mode is actually Triple Elixir.
- Shortlist several recent decks. Open RoyaleAPI’s Triple Elixir Battle rankings near the time you play. Compare more than the first row, and look at both game count and win rate. Rankings reflect a rolling window and can change.
- Check card access and levels. Favor a deck you can field with suitable levels and cards you have unlocked. A high listed win rate is not enough reason to use a deck you cannot play effectively.
- Identify the win condition and defense. Know how the list takes towers, how it handles air and ground threats, and which cards disrupt or reset dangerous pushes. In a mode with frequent deployments, a collection of expensive attackers can still struggle if it cannot defend.
- Look for a counterpush. Prefer a list that can defend efficiently and turn surviving troops into pressure, rather than spending all its Elixir on an attack that leaves no answer to the opponent.
These are deck-selection criteria, not claims that a particular deck has been tested or proven best for Clan Wars.

What recent rankings can—and cannot—tell you
When accessed in 2026, RoyaleAPI’s seven-day Triple Elixir Battle listing showed 4,680 games overall. That total is not a Supercell statistic, is not permanent, and does not mean each deck has a large sample. Near the top, “RamRider GK Pekka EWiz” had 23 games and a 95.7% win rate; “Double Barrel Bait 3.0 Cycle” had 31 games and an 87.1% win rate; “Hog EvoMusk IWiz” had 16 games and an 87.5% win rate. Those small deck-level samples make the percentages noisy, so treat the rows as ideas to inspect—not durable recommendations or proof of Clan Wars performance.
Do not confuse Triple Elixir with old Clan Wars deck advice
Older guides may refer to Collection Day, War Day, or building a different deck for each Collection Day mode. Those instructions describe a retired format. Supercell’s Clan Wars 2 release notes said the update would replace the previous Clan Wars system and explicitly listed “Removing Collection Day” and “Removing War Day.” The original Clan Wars explainer’s advice to “Build different decks to suit the different game modes” applied to that earlier system, not as evidence that the old mode remains available.

If you mean Clan War Duel, plan three decks instead
A Duel is a different deck-planning problem from selecting one Triple Elixir list. Current Supercell support says a Clan War Duel requires at least three War Decks. In an Open Duel, a deck used in one battle cannot be selected again in later battles. See Supercell’s Duel Battle guidance and the River Battle(s) page for the current format.
