Marvel Rivals’ Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame event runs from October 22, 2026, at 09:00 UTC until November 26, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. Its Thanos Descends cooperative boss mode is playable only during scheduled sessions on four Saturdays: October 24, October 31, November 7, and November 14. Each Saturday offers three two-hour UTC windows, giving players 12 opportunities to enter the fight. The event also includes free Captain America rewards and two Times Square activities.
What is the Marvel Rivals Avengers: Endgame event schedule?
The event-wide activities are available throughout the October 22–November 26 window, but Thanos Descends is not continuously playable. The official patch notes establish the recurring session pattern, while the complete dated calendar is as follows.

How does Thanos Descends work?
Thanos Descends is a cooperative player-versus-environment encounter in which up to 50 players fight Thanos and his forces. Matchmaking can add AI-controlled heroes when necessary, so a full human roster is not required for every run.

Phase 1: sword attacks
Thanos begins with close-range sword attacks. Watch the ground for red attack indicators and move out of marked areas rather than trying to absorb the damage.
Phase 2: Infinity Stones and teleporting
The encounter then introduces Infinity Stone abilities and teleportation. Mobility matters during this section, because Thanos can change position while threatening several areas at once.

Fleet bombardment and ranged attacks make open ground more dangerous. Flying or ranged heroes such as Phoenix, Iron Man, Storm, and Doctor Strange can maintain damage while staying clear of many ground threats.

Phase 4: timed finale and the Snap
The final phase is timed and leads to Thanos using the Snap. Save enough survivability and damage output to finish the objective before the timer expires.

- Stay close to healers when the arena becomes crowded.
- Strategists such as Jubilee or Cloak and Dagger can help sustain the large group.
- Use Ultimates as soon as they are ready instead of holding them for an uncertain later moment.
- Treat the red warning indicators as the clearest signal to reposition immediately.

What can you do in Times Square?
Two non-combat activities are available in the Times Square area during the same October 22–November 26 period.
- Watch the highlights screening: remain at the Avengers: Endgame highlights screening continuously for two minutes to unlock the exclusive Avengers: Endgame Gallery Card.
- Take the group photo: visit the iconic-scene photo walls outside the Avengers’ Gift Shop and take a group photo with the NPCs to receive 100 Units immediately.
These activities are separate from the Thanos Descends match objectives, so you can complete them even when no boss-fight session is open.

What happens if I miss every Thanos Descends session?
The published schedule does not announce an alternate replay period or an always-open version of the mode. Check the live event panel and any later NetEase announcement in case an extension or replacement session is added.
Can AI-controlled heroes complete the fight with human players?
Yes, the encounter can add AI-controlled heroes after matchmaking. The available information does not specify a separate reward penalty for a roster that includes bots.
