CONTROL Resonant, Remedy Entertainment’s action-adventure RPG sequel to Control, launched worldwide on September 24, 2026. It is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, with GeForce NOW support. Remedy has described Mac availability via Steam and the App Store as planned for later in 2026; that timing is a plan, not confirmation that the Mac version is available.
What CONTROL Resonant is about
The sequel moves the series’ supernatural crisis to a warped Manhattan. Players take the role of Dylan Faden, Jesse Faden’s brother, as he fights to survive and hold on to his humanity while searching for Jesse. Dylan wields Aberrant, a melee weapon that can change shape.

Remedy calls the game both a sequel and a new entry point for players who have not played Control. The studio describes it as an action-adventure RPG that expands the series’ action, atmosphere and mystery. Remedy’s reveal announcement, published December 12, 2025, introduced the game and its premise.
Release date and platforms
Remedy announced a worldwide release date of September 24, 2026, then confirmed on that date that the game was out now. Its current CONTROL Resonant page lists the following platforms and services:

Remedy said Mac versions via Steam and the App Store would follow later in 2026. The available official announcements do not establish whether those versions have since launched. Remedy’s June 2, 2026 release-date announcement set the date and listed platforms; its September 24, 2026 out-now announcement confirmed the launch.
Who developed and publishes it?
Remedy Entertainment developed and published CONTROL Resonant. Annapurna Pictures is a strategic partner that co-finances and co-produces the game; Remedy’s investor-relations strategy page describes that partnership. Annapurna is not identified as the game’s publisher.

Physical editions and preorders
Remedy’s June 2, 2026 announcement said digital and physical editions were available to preorder. That announcement does not specify current retailer availability, prices, physical-edition contents or which platforms receive physical editions. Check a retailer’s live listing for those details before buying.
