For a history-focused run, start with 2K Showcase of the Immortals. 2K describes it as a retelling of WrestleMania’s major moments: it spans 21 matches across five decades, and each match unlocks after you complete the previous one. Play both MyRISE career stories
MyRISE is the choice for a career arc built around a created Superstar. It has two storylines: Undisputed follows the men’s division, while Unleashed follows the women’s division. If you want to see both sides of the mode’s original stories, play each campaign rather than treating them as alternate versions of one path. 2K identifies the two arcs in its WWE 2K24 feature announcement.
Run a wrestling show in MyGM
MyGM shifts attention from controlling a single match to running a show. It suits players who enjoy making decisions about contracts, trading Superstars, and building drama across a roster. PlayStation describes those management elements on its WWE 2K24 product page. Choose it when the planning around the matches is as appealing as the matches themselves.

Universe is the broader sandbox for managing rosters, feuds, champions, weekly shows, and Premium Live Events. Its expanded rivalry actions include run-ins, Money in the Bank cash-ins, scenarios, and brawls. 2K’s launch announcement also lists new cutscenes, Special Guest Referee support, double-title matches, and a Loser Leaves Town stipulation among Universe additions. Create a custom wrestling world
The Creation Suite is for players who want to shape the roster and presentation themselves. It supports custom Superstars, GMs, arenas, entrances, move sets, and championships. WWE 2K24 also adds Create-A-Referee and Create-A-Sign, giving you more ways to customize how a show looks and plays out. 2K lists these creation features in its feature announcement.

Try unusual match rules and gameplay twists
If you would rather get straight into a match, WWE 2K24 adds Ambulance and Special Guest Referee matches among its new match types. 2K also highlights Super Finishers and the Trading Blows minigame as gameplay upgrades. Treat these as ways to vary the in-ring experience; the feature descriptions do not establish that every match type is available in every mode. 2K announced WWE 2K24 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam; PlayStation’s product page covers the PS4 and PS5 versions. The release announcement dates the Deluxe and Forty Years of WrestleMania editions to March 5, 2024, and the Standard editions to March 8, 2024.
