The CORSAIR 3500X is a glass-sided mid-tower with broad component support, room for large radiators and a base US listing of $99.99 when CORSAIR’s page was checked on October 4, 2026. That price applies to the base black case, not every 3500X edition or region—and the base model includes no fans. Whether it is a good fit depends on your parts and the cost of completing its cooling setup.
What makes the 3500X distinctive?
The 3500X pairs a tempered-glass front with a tempered-glass side panel, creating a wraparound view of the build. CORSAIR says both panels are removable, which gives access to the interior for assembly and maintenance. The case measures 506 mm high × 460 mm long × 240 mm wide and is designed as a mid-tower. CORSAIR’s product listing also specifies dust filtration and 45 mm of cable-routing space.

Will your motherboard and components fit?
CORSAIR lists support for Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX and E-ATX motherboards; E-ATX boards must be no larger than 305 × 277 mm. The case also supports reverse-connector designs, including ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero and GIGABYTE Project Stealth.

The base 3500X ships with no fans. Factor the cost and installation of fans into the build rather than treating them as included with the case. The published compatibility figures describe supported mounts, but they do not establish temperatures or noise levels for a particular setup.

What do you get for the listed price?
On October 4, 2026, CORSAIR’s US product page showed the base 3500X in stock at $99.99, with black and white color choices. This is a dated US listing, not a guaranteed current price, a price for other regions or a market-wide value comparison. CORSAIR lists ARGB and iCUE LINK editions as well; check each edition’s own price, stock and included equipment rather than assuming the base model’s details apply.

CORSAIR introduced the 3500X series on July 9, 2024, describing it as affordable and stating that it carries a two-year warranty. A September 20, 2024 Tom’s Hardware review of the 3500X ARGB characterized that edition as a bit pricier than competitors. Those are distinct, dated judgments about different contexts; neither establishes how the base model compares with current competitors. CORSAIR’s launch announcement and the Tom’s Hardware ARGB review provide that context.

Which practical details should you plan around?
- Front I/O: One USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a combined audio/microphone jack.
- Vertical graphics card: Supported, but the riser card is sold separately.
- Warranty: Two years, according to CORSAIR’s announcement and product specifications.
- Edition-specific contents: The no-fans-included specification applies to the base case; verify the contents of any ARGB or LINK edition separately.
For a gaming build, the 3500X’s appeal is its visible showcase layout and flexible component and radiator support. The base listing is $99.99 in the US snapshot cited above, but its total build cost also depends on adding fans and, if desired, a separately purchased vertical-mount riser. The available information does not establish comparative thermal performance or a current value ranking.
