The publisher’s availability notice also summarizes the platforms as PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Mac. These descriptions refer to the same launch, using both device and storefront names. Pearl Abyss says character growth is shaped by exploration and boss encounters. The publisher’s cited descriptions do not specify a level cap, a particular skill-tree structure or how quickly progression unfolds.

Physical editions have different extras
Pearl Abyss and PLAION announced Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s editions. The Collector’s Edition was described with a 17-inch diorama, limited SteelBook, fabric map of Pywel, developer letter, Greymane pin, three character photo cards and three patches. The launch-era prices announced in 2025 were $69.99 for Standard, $89.99 for Deluxe and $279.99 for Collector’s Edition; they are historical prices, not a guide to current retail pricing. The game has received post-launch updates
The current official page describes story refinements, added voice-over and language support, and other post-launch improvements. It also says current owners receive a free upgrade to Enhanced. Consult the official Crimson Desert site for current details.
What should you know about editions and buying?
The announced physical editions differ in their extras, and the Collector’s Edition listing details its collectibles. Pearl Abyss also described the Deluxe Edition as including in-game items; its October 2025 notice said physical editions came with a Pywel map, SteelBook case and other goods. That announcement is historical: preorder bonuses, prices, stock and exact contents should be checked against a current store listing before buying. Digital storefronts and physical inventory may differ by region.
Pearl Abyss’s September 2025 preorder notice said eligible preorders on PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Microsoft Store and Steam could preload beginning 48 hours before launch.
