How to beat Chromatic Gold Chevaliere
The boss guide lists Light and Dark as Chromatic Gold Chevaliere’s weaknesses, and Fire and Ice as its resistances. It lists no immunities or absorptions. These are guide-reported affinities, not results from hands-on testing.
A separate walkthrough reports that Clair and Obscur accompany the boss. The sources do not establish a mandatory party setup or universally best target order, so treat any party or targeting plan as a tactical choice based on your own build and priorities.

Should you clear the boss or focus on exploration?
Both the boss encounter and the Paint Cage are optional area goals; the cited sources do not establish that either is required to advance the main story. If you want the encounter’s reported rewards, complete the statue puzzle and summon the boss. If your priority is exploration, seek out the Paint Cage and continue checking the area around its landmarks and Expedition Flags for collectibles.
The area page is a fan-made wiki and says it is unaffiliated with Sandfall Interactive. Its update and review date is 2026-09-24. A 100% walkthrough video published 2025-05-03 corroborates the collectible-focused scope, but its description does not establish exact written pickup directions: 100% Crimson Forest walkthrough.
