To solve Root’s End in Crimson Desert, open the pavilion hatch with Force Palm, descend to the blue crystal, power the teleporter, then activate the garden pressure pad and collect the Abyss Artifact. Here’s the full route, including how to recover if you miss the landing.
Reach Root’s End
Root’s End is an Abyss Restoration Challenge in the Ethereal Pathway area, within The Path of Providence cluster. The route is associated with Abyss Without Balance, but guides describe progression differently: PowerPyx places Root’s End in Chapter 1, while PC Gamer says to complete Abyss Without Balance and head east across the skybridge and floating islands. Follow the available eastbound route through the moving platforms and floating islands to reach the large island.

Once there, activate the Abyss Nexus on the island’s north side before climbing the stairs to the puzzle pavilion. (Sources: PowerPyx; PC Gamer.)
Open the hatch and descend to the crystal
- Stand on the central hatch inside the pavilion, crouch, and use Force Palm to flip it open.
- Drop into the laser chute. The lasers can damage you during the descent, so glide or use your wings to slow your fall.
- Aim for the floating rock near the blue crystal on the northeastern side of the lower area.
If you miss the rock, use Axiom Force to move the boulders into a staircase and climb back toward the crystal. PowerPyx also describes using a stone block as a step to reach the suspended power block; use whichever nearby foothold is available. (Sources: PowerPyx; PC Gamer.)

Power the teleporter
- Use Axiom Force to pick up the blue crystal and move it to the empty socket on the east side of the lower floor.
- When the crystal is aligned with the socket, use Force Palm to push it into place.
- Step into the activated teleporter to reach the island above.
Activate the garden mechanism
- In the garden, use Axiom Force to move the second crystal beside the empty socket in the post near the stairs.
- Use Force Palm to seat the crystal in the socket.
- Stand on the circular platform that appears, crouch, and use Force Palm on the pressure pad.
- Collect the Abyss Artifact to complete Root’s End and restore the Abyss.
