For a practical Version 4.6 starting build, use Though Worlds Apart with the Self-Enshrouded Recluse relic set, following the current guide’s top listing. Treat that as version-sensitive guide consensus, not an official HoYoverse prescription: HSR Build says its rankings draw on Prydwen’s measured-in-play rankings, while other data comes from the game. Check the current in-game skill text and your inventory before spending resources.
What role does Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae fill?
The current build guide describes Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae as a Physical Preservation support. That role informs the guide’s equipment choices, particularly its shield-focused relic recommendation. The available guidance does not establish exact current skill values or a complete kit description, so use the character’s in-game ability text to verify how his effects work in your version.
HSR Build’s Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae build page labels its recommendation Version 4.6 and was updated September 26, 2026. Its rankings can change with later updates. Prydwen’s character guide is another reference for checking current build advice.
Which Light Cone should you use?
For Version 4.6, the current guide lists Though Worlds Apart first. It also names these alternatives, in the order shown by the guide:

This is a guide ranking, not a guarantee that the first option is best for every account or team. Before changing Light Cones, check the current in-game descriptions, the superimposition of each cone you own, and whether acquiring or upgrading another option is worth the resource cost. The surfaced guidance does not support a universal numerical comparison across teams.
Which relic set is the starting recommendation?
Self-Enshrouded Recluse
The guide’s main recommendation is Self-Enshrouded Recluse. Its described effects focus on shields: the two-piece effect increases Shield Effect, while the four-piece effect further increases the wearer’s provided Shield Effect and gives allies holding that wearer’s Shield a CRIT DMG bonus. Those effects explain why the set fits the guide’s shield-oriented support build.

- Honkai: Star Rail Fugue 1/8 Figure Stellar Luck Ver.
Alternatives to compare
The same guide names Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder and Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal as alternatives. It does not establish that either is numerically superior in a particular team. Compare the actual set effects and the relics you already have before replacing a usable set.
How to choose between gear you already own
Use the guide’s Version 4.6 listing as a starting point, then make the decision around your account rather than chasing a ranking in isolation. For each candidate, check:

- The Cyrene is made of high quality PVC and the shape has been designed many times
- The shape is a perfect replica of Cyrene 's image from the Star Rail game

- Effect fit: Does the Light Cone or relic effect support what your team needs from Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae?
- Existing investment: Do you already own the option, and what are its superimposition or relic quality?
- Replacement cost: What resources would you spend to acquire, level, or replace it?
- Current description: Do the in-game effect text and the guide still match the version you are playing?
A lower-ranked item you already own may be a more practical choice than spending heavily to reproduce a guide ranking. The available sources do not provide enough evidence to calculate a single best setup for every team.
What the available guidance does not establish
It does not verify exact current skill values, trace priorities, energy breakpoints, speed targets, or team-by-team performance. Avoid treating specific targets or team rankings as settled unless you can confirm them from current in-game text or a current, well-supported comparison. Recheck equipment rankings after game updates; the Version 4.6 recommendation is not a permanent prescription.

HoYoverse’s September 12, 2025 announcement described a claim window for eligible players at Trailblaze Level 3 or above who logged in. It ran from the start of his Warp through the end of Version 4.0, so it is a historical promotion and does not establish current acquisition availability.
