Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe headline’s subject cannot be identified from the available evidence: neither the designer said to have “fixed” Grand Theft Auto’s driving nor the game described as a “remaster” is verified. A fan project restoring the 1997 Grand Theft Auto for modern PCs is a possible lead, not a confirmed match.
What is—and isn’t—confirmed
- The designer: No source surfaced that identifies who supposedly improved GTA’s driving.
- The remaster: No specific game, release, or launch date is established.
- The claim: The wording that someone “fixed” the driving remains part of the headline, not a verified description of a project or change.
As a result, it would be misleading to name a creator, describe gameplay changes, call a release official, or report that it has launched.

Is it the fan-made 1997 GTA restoration?
A PC Gamer search result describes a fan-made project that packages the original 1997 Grand Theft Auto for modern PCs and Steam Deck. That makes it a possible lead, but the available information does not connect it to the headline or establish that its creator changed the driving. Its precise contents and release status are likewise not confirmed here.
Is it the official GTA Trilogy?
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is an official remastered collection associated with Rockstar Games and Grove Street Games, according to a surfaced search result. It is an adjacent product, not a verified match for the headline. The available evidence does not link its development to a designer who “fixed” GTA driving.

- STUNNING VISUALS — Enhanced levels of fidelity and performance with new graphics modes featuring up to 4K resolution, up to 60 frames per second, HDR options, ray tracing, improved texture quality, and more
- FASTER LOADING — Quicker access to the action as the world of Los Santos and Blaine County load in faster than ever before.
- ADAPTIVE TRIGGERS AND HAPTIC FEEDBACK — Feel every moment through the DualSense controller, from directional damage to weather effects, rough road surfaces to explosions, and more.
- TEMPEST 3D AUDIO — Hear the sounds of the world with pinpoint precision: the throttle of a stolen supercar, the rattle of neighbouring gunfire, the roar of a helicopter overhead, and more.
- Please note that although this game is Region Free or Region Unlocked and will work on all systems, this is the European version and may differ from the local version in age rating, labeling or instructions.
What would establish the match?
A reliable identification would need to connect the person, the claimed driving changes, and the named release—not merely mention GTA and a restoration in the same search results. Until a project page or authoritative report makes that connection, the headline’s central claim remains unresolved.
