If a Guardian Games reward is missing, first identify its exact name and event year: medallion rewards, ceremony rewards, event-card claims, activity chests, bounties, Bungie.net Rewards, and Twitch Drops do not all use the same claim route. Check the requirement and claim status, make sure you are on the account that earned it, and look in the expected destination. Guardian Games 2026 ended on April 14, 2026, so its limited-time claims are no longer an active event route.
Identify which reward is missing
Before troubleshooting, write down the item name and how you expected to earn it. The official Guardian Games guide describes several in-game reward routes, while Bungie’s Bungie Rewards help page covers web-claimed digital rewards and physical reward or store-order issues.

| Reward route | What to verify | Where to start looking |
|---|---|---|
| Medallion or score reward | Whether the required medallions were deposited or the relevant score threshold was reached. | The event destination or reward location specified by the guide. |
| Ceremony reward | Whether the required ceremony step was completed. | The destination specified for that ceremony reward. |
| Event-card reward | Whether the relevant challenge was completed and its reward claimed. | The event-card claim flow and the item’s stated destination. |
| Activity chest or bounty reward | Whether the activity, chest threshold, or bounty requirement was met. | The activity’s reward destination or the appropriate inventory. |
| Bungie.net digital reward | Whether the required accomplishment was completed, the correct profile is linked, and “Claim Reward” was selected. | Collections > Flair > Emblems > General or Master Rahool, for most digital Bungie Rewards. |
| Twitch Drop | Whether the required viewing condition was met and Twitch was linked to the correct Bungie account. | Check the Drop’s claim status and the in-game destination named for that item. |
| Physical Bungie Reward or store order | Whether the physical reward was eligible and claimed or the order was placed successfully. | Bungie Store Customer Service for store receipt or order problems. |
Check the event requirement and claim state
Medallions, score, ceremonies, activities, and bounties
Use the Guardian Games guide to check the specific requirement for the item. Completing an activity does not automatically mean every related reward was earned: some depend on deposited medallions, a score threshold, a ceremony, an activity chest threshold, or a bounty. Also check whether a challenge or Triumph reward still needs to be claimed.
Pay special attention to the Medallion Case if Triumphs awarded the missing medallions. Bungie warns: “If the Medallion Case is full, Medallions earned through claiming Triumphs will be lost.” That warning applies specifically to Triumph-earned medallions when the case is full.

Bungie.net Rewards and Twitch Drops
For a digital Bungie Reward, check that the Bungie.net profile is linked to the Destiny 2 account that completed the required accomplishment. If the reward page offers a “Claim Reward” action, confirm it was selected; meeting the requirement alone may not complete the web claim. Bungie says most digital Bungie Rewards claimed on Bungie.net can be found in Collections > Flair > Emblems > General or in Master Rahool.
Twitch Drops have their own eligibility and linking conditions. Bungie’s March 26, 2026 announcement specified that the Streams of Consciousness emblem required one hour of viewing an eligible Destiny 2 streamer while Guardian Games was live, with Bungie and Twitch accounts linked. That was a time-limited condition for the 2026 event, not a general rule for other rewards. Guardian Games 2026 ran until April 14, 2026, and that campaign has ended.

Refresh the game and search the right account
- Confirm the earning account. Check that the Destiny 2 character or platform account you are using is the one that earned the reward, and that the corresponding Bungie.net profile is linked where required.
- Finish any outstanding claim. Review the relevant Triumph, event-card challenge, Bungie.net Reward page, or Twitch Drop claim state. Claim the reward if an explicit claim action remains.
- Restart or relog. Restart Destiny 2 or log out and back into the account that earned the reward, then check its expected inventory or destination.
- Search documented destinations. For most digital Bungie Rewards, inspect Collections > Flair > Emblems > General and Master Rahool. For other event items, use the destination specified for that particular reward.
When to contact Bungie support
If the requirement was met, the claim was completed, the correct account is being used, and the item is still absent after refreshing and checking its destination, Bungie recommends posting in the #Help forums. Make the report actionable by including the reward’s exact name and event year, platform, account context, steps completed, and where you expected to find it. Those details help describe the issue; they are practical suggestions, not a Bungie-mandated form.
Do not assume a general vendor-track issue explains a missing Guardian Games item. Bungie’s Known Issues and Vital Information page showed a separate issue about claiming lower-rank vendor-track rewards after reaching max rank and being ready to reset; the listing was last updated July 7, 2026, and did not establish a Guardian Games-specific incident or its status on October 8, 2026. The page directs players with unlisted issues to the #Help forum: Destiny 2 Known Issues and Vital Information.
