Bungie announced the collaboration with Lucasfilm Games in January 2025, and the cosmetics arrived with the first Act of Heresy on February 4. Whether they look great is a matter of taste; the official announcements establish their inspiration and names, not a universal verdict on their designs.
Which Star Wars armor set belongs to each class?
Bungie calls these Star Wars-themed armor ornament sets and says they draw inspiration from Galactic Empire troopers and royal guards. That describes the broad design brief; it does not establish that each set is a direct replica of a particular character or costume.
| Class | Armor ornament set |
|---|---|
| Hunter | Covert Ranger |
| Warlock | Royal Protector |
| Titan | Shock Enforcer |
Bungie introduced the collaboration in its January 30, 2025 This Week in Destiny announcement, then named the sets in its February 6 launch-week post.
What makes the designs appealing?
“Looks great” is an editorial judgment, not a measurable property. The strongest case for the collection is its clear concept: three distinct class sets translate the visual language of Imperial troops and royal guards into Destiny 2 armor ornaments. That gives the crossover a recognizable Star Wars identity while leaving room for each Guardian class to have its own set.

Which one works best depends on what you value in an outfit: an immediately recognizable Imperial-inspired silhouette, details that still feel specific to Destiny, or how the pieces look with your preferred shaders. Bungie’s announcements do not rank the sets or document those visual comparisons, so treat any preference as a personal one rather than an official assessment.
What else launched with the collaboration?
The first Act of Heresy launch included more than the three armor sets. Bungie also listed the DS-2 Shell, Advanced Prototype Jumpship, and Repulsorlift Jumpspeeder in the Interstellar Warfare Antiquities Collection, along with new finishers and emotes in Eververse. These are digital in-game cosmetics, not physical Star Wars merchandise.

Are the Star Wars armor sets still available?
The available official information does not confirm whether Covert Ranger, Royal Protector, or Shock Enforcer is listed in the current Eververse storefront. Bungie’s June 2026 Update 9.7.0 support guide says no further live-service content updates are planned after that update, while allowing for possible health and stability hotfixes. It also describes continued Eververse purchases using Silver and Bright Dust.
In a Bungie Help reply dated June 18, 2026, Bungie said licensed partnership items remain available only while it has permission to sell them and are excluded from Bright Engram Focusing. The reply listed Star Wars among the active partnerships for the launch of the new Legends setup, but it does not verify the listing status of these three sets. Check the current in-game store before assuming an ornament is available or planning a purchase.
