How was the mission restored?
In its announcement, publisher THQ Nordic said the development team found an unreleased mission in Pandemic Studios’ archives, “hidden deep in the archives of Pandemic Studios.” The team restored and finalized it for inclusion in the remake. The announcement does not identify an individual developer as the speaker, so the discovery and restoration are best attributed to the team as described by THQ Nordic, not to a named person.
