Where to find Devonia’s Hammer
Crucible Knight Devonia drops the hammer when defeated in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. The weapon requires the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Devonia’s Vortex: skill and FP cost
Devonia’s Vortex is the hammer’s unique weapon skill. It spins the weapon before slamming it into the ground to create a shockwave, and the attack can be charged. It costs 16 FP. Because the weapon has a unique skill, it cannot take a different Ash of War, according to Game8’s Devonia’s Vortex guide.
Upgrade path
Devonia’s Hammer upgrades with Somber Smithing Stones rather than the regular Smithing Stone path. Reaching +10 requires one Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, according to Game8’s weapon guide.

Is Devonia’s Hammer a good fit?
Its requirements and Strength, Dexterity, and Faith scaling make it a candidate for a Strength/Faith character that can meet the stat thresholds. The damage is split between physical and holy, and the skill offers a charged shockwave attack. Whether it suits a particular build depends on the player’s attributes, preferred moveset, and combat needs; the available sources do not establish that it outperforms other large weapons in controlled comparisons.
