Gloves of the Illuminator are a Sorcerer Unique in Diablo 4 that change Fireball into a bouncing projectile: it explodes each time it hits the ground, dealing 70–100% of normal damage per explosion according to the current item database. The same database lists +121 Intelligence and +3 to Fireball, and describes the gloves as a world drop rather than a known boss drop.
What Gloves of the Illuminator do
The Unique modifies Fireball so it bounces as it travels and explodes whenever it hits the ground. Blizzard’s official version 2.0 PTR notes describe the effect this way: “Fireball now bounces as it travels, exploding each time it hits the ground, but its explosion deals 70-100% of normal damage.” Blizzard Entertainment’s version 2.0 PTR notes also say the effect’s wording was updated without changing its functionality.

Listed stats and damage
The D4 Guides item record, marked for Season 15 / patch 3.2.1 and updated October 7, 2026, lists 70–100% of normal damage for each explosion, +121 Intelligence, and +3 to Fireball. These are the values in that database snapshot, not a guarantee that every drop has identical rolls or an official Blizzard confirmation of the current values. D4 Guides: Gloves of the Illuminator

D4 Guides currently categorizes the gloves as a world drop and lists dungeons, Helltides, and the Pit as general loot-pool contexts. It records no known boss drop, so those activities should be understood as places to pursue general loot, not as a guaranteed source or dedicated farm.
