Diablo IV’s Season 2, Season of Blood, changed the announced World Boss interval to 3 hours and 30 minutes and added earlier warnings. Those are historical changes from 2023—not a guarantee of today’s schedule. For the next spawn, use the in-game event display or a live tracker, and check its time zone. Current boss and reward details should also be verified: a tracker reviewed on October 8, 2026, lists Azmodan in its live schedule but omits it from its FAQ roster.
What Season 2 changed about World Boss times
Blizzard announced Season of Blood, Diablo IV’s second season, for October 17, 2023. Its developer update reduced the World Boss interval from six hours to 3 hours and 30 minutes. It also increased the warning window from 30 minutes to 60 minutes and added a message to all players when a boss was 15 minutes away. These figures describe the Season 2 update, not independently confirmed current behavior. Blizzard’s Season of Blood developer update is the source for those timing changes. Blizzard’s Season of Blood announcement identifies it as Season 2.

Season 2 is not the current season. Blizzard’s later announcement identifies Season of Reckoning as launching with Lord of Hatred. Consult the game for current event behavior rather than assuming the 2023 interval or alerts remain unchanged. Blizzard’s Diablo IV news page
How to find the next World Boss location and time
World Boss spawns rotate, so a static list of future times or locations can quickly become misleading. Use the map and event notice in game, or consult a live tracker shortly before you plan to play. Blizzard’s Season 2 update documented the warning system; exact current timing should be confirmed in the current game interface.

Use the in-game event display
Check the map and the World Boss event notice for the upcoming encounter and its location. In Season 2, Blizzard said the game would provide a 60-minute warning and a broadcast message at 15 minutes. Check what the current client actually displays rather than relying on those historical timings as a present-day guarantee.
Use a third-party live tracker cautiously
Helltides.com is a fan-made tracker, not an official Blizzard source. When accessed on October 8, 2026, it showed rotating examples including Azmodan in Fractured Peaks and Scosglen, Wandering Death in Dry Steppes and Kehjistan, and Avarice in Fractured Peaks. Those are examples from a live snapshot, not a fixed arena list or a schedule to reuse later. The extracted times did not establish a reliable time-zone basis; confirm the displayed zone before using a time to plan a session.
The tracker offers configurable alerts and browser notifications. Its FAQ says there are three World Bosses, but its live schedule includes Azmodan. That inconsistency means the page should not be treated as definitive for the current roster or complete rules. Verify the encounter in game.

Which World Bosses are in the current roster?
The tracker FAQ names Ashava the Pestilent, Avarice the Gold Cursed, and Wandering Death, while its live schedule also lists Azmodan. Because those parts of the same fan-made page conflict, the available information does not establish a complete current roster. Check the in-game event display or current official patch documentation before treating any list as exhaustive.

The tracker describes Legendary and Unique drops, Ancestral items on Torment III or higher, and boss-associated cosmetics. It gives examples such as Ashava Barding Mount Armor and Ashava’s Bone Fragment Mount Trophy; Treasure Beast Barding Mount Armor and Avarice’s Gilded Horn Mount Trophy; and Bone-Caged Barding Mount Armor and Bone-Caged Heart Mount Trophy. These are unofficial tracker claims and may be outdated. They do not establish a drop chance or guarantee that a particular item will drop, so treat them as possibilities to verify rather than promises.

Season 2 also introduced mechanics that should not be mistaken for current reward rules. Blizzard’s Season of Blood announcement said defeating a World Boss on World Tier IV could award Exquisite Blood, used to summon the Dark Master. Check current in-game descriptions and patch notes before relying on that Season 2 detail.
World Bosses are not the Season 2 endgame bosses
Blizzard separately introduced five endgame bosses in Season of Blood. They are distinct encounters from World Bosses, with their own boss-specific Unique and cosmetic drops. Do not use a guide to those endgame encounters as a World Boss location, spawn-time, or reward guide. Blizzard’s Season of Blood announcement
