What Law By Mike announced
The verified Law By Mike YouTube channel published a video titled “We’re Suing Roblox” on September 1, 2025. Its description thanks Schlep and other creators for taking part, but neither the title nor the description identifies a court, case number, filed complaint, or procedural status. Watch the video and read its description.
The description says the video provides public information rather than legal advice: “I am just providing public information here, like a library does, and am not providing you with legal advice about your situation.” It also says viewers are not the creator’s clients absent an express written mutual agreement through a retainer contract. Watching the video does not create an attorney-client relationship. The video description is the source for these statements.
Did Law By Mike actually sue Roblox?
What is established is the September 1, 2025 announcement. The sources available do not connect a specific filed complaint or current docket status to Law By Mike’s announcement. A September 2025 federal docket in Doe M.J. et al. v. Roblox Corporation et al. names Roblox and Discord, but its search result does not identify Law By Mike or Schlep as a plaintiff or counsel, or show that it is the case announced in the video. Accordingly, describing the announcement as a confirmed court filing would go beyond the available evidence. Confirmation would require a primary court record or a direct statement from the legal team that links the announced effort to a filed case.
Roblox’s response and other lawsuits
Roblox’s public statements and other proceedings provide context, but they do not establish the status of Law By Mike’s announced effort.

Roblox’s stated position
In an August 15, 2025 response to a lawsuit by the Louisiana attorney general, Roblox said, “Roblox as a policy does not comment on pending litigation.” The company rejected claims that it intentionally puts users at risk and described safety features it said it had introduced. Texas proceeding
Roblox’s SEC filing describes regulatory investigations and legal proceedings concerning safety, consumer protection, and other issues. It reports that on March 6, 2026, a Texas trial court dismissed the state’s common nuisance claim while allowing its Deceptive Trade Practices Act claim to proceed. That procedural development concerns the Texas action, not the Law By Mike announcement. Roblox SEC filing.

Los Angeles County proceeding
In February 2026, Los Angeles County announced a separate lawsuit alleging violations of California’s Unfair Competition Law and False Advertising Law. The county said it sought injunctive relief, abatement, and civil penalties. Those are allegations and requested remedies in the county’s announcement, not proof of liability and not evidence that Law By Mike filed a case. Los Angeles County announcement.

The confirmed fact is an announcement: Law By Mike published a video titled “We’re Suing Roblox” on September 1, 2025. The sources do not establish whether that effort resulted in a complaint or what its present procedural status is. Other litigation involving Roblox has different plaintiffs and claims; its developments should not be attributed to Law By Mike’s announcement.
