For most version-specific help, check whether the guide covers the Definitive Edition. Larian describes it as an updated version and the edition released on consoles. Larian’s support page lists PC and Mac through Steam and GOG, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iPad. It also says Switch and Steam owners can use cross-saves.
