Yes. Iris works with Fabric on Minecraft 1.16.5 and later, and the Iris FAQ says most mods work with it. That does not guarantee every mod combination will run: Iris lists several rendering-related exceptions and version-specific requirements.
What Iris supports
Iris is an open-source shader mod for Minecraft: Java Edition. Its official FAQ lists support for Fabric from Minecraft 1.16.5 onward, and for NeoForge from 1.21.1 onward. Forge is not supported, according to the same FAQ. Iris FAQ

Which Fabric mods and rendering setups need caution?
Iris says most mods work with it, but calls out these compatibility details:
- Nvidium: It can be installed with Iris, but the FAQ says Nvidium disables itself while shaders are enabled.
- Voxy and Distant Horizons: They work with some shader packs, but the pack must explicitly support them. Compatibility with one pack does not establish compatibility with all packs.
- OptiFine, Canvas, and Vulkan mods: Iris lists these as incompatible and says they will crash the game.
- Indium: Iris recommends it below Minecraft 1.21.1 and says not to use it on 1.21.1 or later. Check this against your Minecraft version rather than treating it as a universal requirement.
Iris also cautions that some shaders may not support some devices. Broad shader compatibility is an aim, not a guarantee that a specific shader pack will work on every device. These details come from the official Iris FAQ.

How to install Iris with Fabric
The official Iris download page offers an installer and links to Modrinth and CurseForge. It says users downloading through those mod platforms will also need Sodium; the Iris homepage says its installer includes Sodium.
