Yes. Star Wars: Battlefront (2004) has a single-player mode called Historical Campaign. Choose the Clone Wars or the Galactic Civil War, then play battles in chronological order within that era. It is a sequence of historical battles, not a separately established, character-led story campaign.
What is the Historical Campaign?
The original LucasArts game manual describes the mode this way: “The Historical Campaign allows you to experience battles from either the Clone Wars or the Galactic Civil War. You begin by choosing which era, and then work your way through missions in chronological order.”
In other words, the campaign links battles by era and chronology. The official Star Wars game description also characterizes it as story-based and says players experience battles from Episodes I–VI from the perspective of the game’s four factions. The available descriptions establish that framing, but do not establish a voiced, character-led plot.
How it differs from the other single-player modes
Historical Campaign is not the same as Galactic Conquest. Star Wars Support lists Historical Campaign, Instant Action, and Galactic Conquest as separate single-player options. Choose Historical Campaign for the era-based sequence of battles; Galactic Conquest and Instant Action are distinct modes.

This answer is about the original game released September 21, 2004, not a later Battlefront title. Steam currently lists it as STAR WARS™ Battlefront (Classic, 2004).
