Original Nintendo Switch compatibility is unconfirmed. MOBAPAD’s official M12 Pro listing names Nintendo Switch 2 as the controller’s platform; it does not confirm support for the original Switch. Bluetooth and wired connection options do not, by themselves, prove compatibility with another console generation.
What MOBAPAD confirms about the M12 Pro
MOBAPAD presents the M12 Pro as a split, Joy-Con-style controller for Nintendo Switch 2. Its product page lists Bluetooth and wired connection modes, but does not list the original Nintendo Switch as a supported platform or say whether the controller pairs with and operates on that console. That omission is not proof that the controller cannot work with an original Switch. It means the manufacturer’s available product information does not verify that it does. For a purchase decision, treat original-Switch support as unconfirmed unless MOBAPAD provides explicit confirmation for the M12 Pro.
Why Bluetooth or wired mode is not enough to establish compatibility
A controller’s connection method does not establish that a particular console recognizes or supports it. MOBAPAD’s listing identifies Bluetooth and wired modes for the M12 Pro, but does not say either mode works with the original Switch. So those specifications should not be read as a compatibility guarantee.

Check the exact M12 model
MOBAPAD’s M12 materials cover multiple models, and series-level information should not be assumed to apply to the M12 Pro. Check that any compatibility claim names the exact model, rather than just “M12.” MOBAPAD M12 series FAQ

What to do if you need a controller for the original Switch
If you need reliable compatibility with an original Switch, choose a controller whose manufacturer explicitly lists that console as supported. Before buying an M12 Pro for that use, seek confirmation from MOBAPAD that names both the M12 Pro and the original Nintendo Switch; the published listing reviewed here does not provide it.
