Where to download Stellar Blade for Windows
Use one of these official storefronts:
- Steam: The full game and a listed demo are available through the Steam client. The page also lists Steam achievements, trading cards, cloud features and single-player support.
- Epic Games Store: The Windows release is available through Epic Games Launcher, with base-game and Complete Edition listings.
Store availability can vary by account region. Confirm that the page identifies the Windows PC release, developed by SHIFT UP Corporation and published by PlayStation Publishing LLC. The PC version is a separate platform purchase; available sources do not establish automatic PS5 cross-buy, cross-save or cross-progression.

How to install it through Steam
- Open the official Steam page or the Steam client and sign in.

Can your PC run it?
A PC below the GTX 1060 6GB/RX 580 8GB class, or with less than 16 GB of RAM, does not meet the published minimum specification. Integrated graphics should not be assumed to be sufficient. Also check the exact VRAM capacity: a graphics card with a similar model name but less memory may not satisfy the listed requirement.
The recommended tier is for 1440p at Medium, not automatically 4K or maximum settings. The High and Very High GPU tiers are better reference points for 1440p High and 4K targets. Keep more than 75 GB free because launchers may need working space for updates, temporary patch files and cached data. An SSD is especially important at the recommended specification.
PC features and controller support
The official PC release includes an unlocked frame rate, NVIDIA DLSS 4 resolution scaling and frame generation, NVIDIA DLAA, NVIDIA Reflex and AMD FSR 3. DLSS features require compatible NVIDIA hardware; FSR 3 is the relevant upscaling option for supported AMD and other hardware.

Display support includes ultrawide 21:9 and super-ultrawide 32:9 formats, with aspect-ratio support reported from 5:4 through 32:9. Details can vary with hardware and selected settings.
Basic controller use is distinct from full DualSense functionality. According to the official PC announcement, a wired DualSense connection is required for all advertised DualSense functions. If advanced haptics or adaptive-trigger features do not work wirelessly, connect the controller by USB and confirm that Windows and the launcher detect it.
Is there a free full version?
The full Windows game is a paid commercial release. Steam lists a demo, but the demo is not the complete game. There is no legitimate standalone “free full version” identified in the official listings. Avoid cracked installers, torrents, repacks, key generators and download sites offering an EXE outside Steam or Epic; they are not official installation methods and can expose your PC or account to malware and theft.

Steam or Epic: which should you choose?

Fixes if the download, launch or performance fails

Use the direct official links above, check that you are viewing the Windows listing, and review account-region, age or content filters. A temporary storefront outage can also prevent search results from appearing.
The launcher reports insufficient space
- Confirm that the selected installation drive has more than the published 75 GB available.
- Leave additional space for updates and temporary files.
- Check that Steam or Epic is installing to the drive you intended.
- Restart the launcher and retry rather than installing on a nearly full system drive.
The download repeatedly fails
- Pause and resume the download.
- Restart the launcher and check your network connection.
- Make sure security software is not blocking the launcher.
- Try another library location if the target drive has permission or filesystem problems.
- Use Steam or Epic’s file-verification feature after an incomplete or corrupted download.
The game launches poorly
- Update your graphics driver from NVIDIA or AMD.
- Confirm Windows is using the discrete GPU rather than integrated graphics.
- Begin with the Low or Medium preset associated with the official targets.
- Lower resolution or render scale if frame rates are unstable.
- Disable frame generation while diagnosing latency, stutter or instability.
- Test DLSS on compatible NVIDIA hardware or FSR 3 on supported hardware.
- Install the game on an SSD and close unnecessary overlays and background applications.
- Verify the game files through the launcher.
These are general troubleshooting steps, not guaranteed fixes for every driver, hardware or Windows configuration.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Stellar Blade require a PS5?
No. The official Windows edition runs through Steam or Epic Games Launcher, so a PS5 is not required. PS5 ownership should not be assumed to grant the PC version.
