Dragon Burst is a Dragon-element active skill for Pals in Palworld. Current reference listings give it 80 power and a 4-second cooldown; it damages targets around the user, making it a close-area attack rather than a long-range shot.
What Dragon Burst does
The Palworld Wiki gives the move’s description as: “Quickly discharges draconic energy, damaging those around it.” Dragon Burst is a Pal skill, not a player weapon or a standalone physical item. Its listed power is 80, and its listed cooldown is 4 seconds, according to [PalMods’ Dragon Burst reference] and PalworldCenter.

Because the attack affects those around the user, a Pal needs to engage at close range. The Palworld Wiki describes this as exposing the Pal to risk during close engagement; treat that as community tactical commentary, not a tested result or an official developer assessment.

How to get Dragon Burst
You can give the move to a Pal with the Dragon Skill Fruit: Dragon Burst. The fruit is an in-game consumable found from Skill Fruit Trees in the open world; the item reference says it cannot be bought from merchants or crafted. See the Dragon Skill Fruit: Dragon Burst item reference.

Why older guides may show different stats
The Palworld Wiki’s change history says version 1.0 raised Dragon Burst’s power from 55 to 80 and reduced its cooldown from 10 seconds to 4 seconds. It lists version 0.1.2.0 as the move’s introduction. This is community-maintained history, not an official patch note, so older values may reflect an earlier version. See the Dragon Burst history.

The current stats and learner list come from secondary game references and community-maintained data, rather than an official developer page independently confirming them. Use them as current listed values; a later update could change them.
How to judge Dragon Burst in combat
Power and cooldown alone do not establish damage per second or overall effectiveness. When comparing Dragon Burst with another Pal skill, consider engagement distance and area, cooldown, power, hit count, animation time, target matchups, and any documented status effect. PalMods cautions that a simple power-to-cooldown ratio does not account for those factors.
