The fastest way to get established in Dragon Raja: ReRise is to clear Chapter 2, claim every reward in the Files menu, keep the game online for timed recruitment bonuses, and build a compact team around Formation Bonds. Save scarce upgrade materials for one main damage dealer and one Supporter, then raise Manor Bonds for permanent bonuses across your account.

Start with the Main Story and treat each new system as a reason to pause and claim rewards. Story stages provide gems, gold, account experience, upgrade materials and first-clear bonuses while unlocking Recruit, NightWatcher Forum and other features. Push forward until a stage stops you, then improve your core team rather than spreading resources across the entire roster.
- Open every newly unlocked menu and claim its one-time rewards.
- Advance the Main Story, especially through Chapter 2.
- Keep one strong Attacker, one Supporter and a suitable Defender or second damage dealer leveled.
- Use Nibelungen stages for materials when story progress is blocked.
A current community progression route also recommends concentrating gifts on one broadly useful ally until Bond 40, watering your club and joining Joint Action for steady account growth. Those are optimization suggestions, not requirements, so adjust them to the allies you actually recruit.

How do I get free Diamonds from the Files menu?
Check the Files icon whenever a new ally joins you. Open that ally’s Bio and Story entries and claim each completed reward. For an SSR ally, the two entries award 50 Diamonds apiece, for 100 Diamonds total, according to Pocket Gamer’s beginner guide.
Use this reward check every time
- Open Files from the main interface.
- Select the newly obtained ally.
- Read or unlock the Bio entry and collect its reward.
- Open the Story entry and collect its reward as well.
These Diamonds are easy to miss because they are attached to character records rather than the Recruit screen. Make the check part of your summoning routine before spending currency elsewhere.

ReRise uses time-online milestones rather than a conventional offline-idle payout. Leave the game connected and active when practical to reach the following rewards:

Why should I clear Chapter 2 quickly?
Chapter 2 is the first major recruitment breakpoint. Finishing it awards enough Recruitment Vouchers for two ten-pulls, making it an efficient route toward the game’s early guaranteed-SSR opportunity. Story completion also pays first-clear resources and unlocks more systems, so spending your opening stamina and upgrade materials on immediate story progress usually has better value than farming prematurely.
When story progress stalls
Check ally levels, equipment and EX skills first. If a stage remains out of reach, switch to Nibelungen stages for upgrade materials, then return to the Main Story. NightWatcher Forum bounties can also provide Alchemy Gear, gems and upgrade materials; review the forum alongside daily and event tasks.

Formation Bonds are combat effects activated by placing specified allies together. They reward deliberate composition, so a team with a slightly lower individual power rating can outperform a random collection of higher-level characters when its Bond is active.
Example: Full-time Nannies
The Full-time Nannies Formation Bond uses Enxi, Zero and Mai Sakatoku. When active, it grants Stealth for two rounds, increases ATK by 20%, and protects the team from non-group-target skills while the required allies remain present. Read each Bond’s conditions before changing your lineup; replacing one member can remove the entire effect.

Balance Bonds with roles
Keep a coherent mix of Attackers, Defenders and Supporters. Prioritize one main damage dealer and one Supporter, then add protection or control that lets the damage dealer survive. Formation Bonds improve the deployed squad immediately, but they should not justify leveling several weak allies at the expense of your core.
How do Manor Bonds give permanent account bonuses?
Manor Bonds are separate from Formation Bonds. In the Manor, open the Bond tab, select an ally and raise that character’s Bond level. The resulting overall Bond Level Bonus grants permanent stat increases to all characters, including allies you are not currently using.

Early resources are limited, so concentrate gifts on one highly usable ally rather than raising many Bonds a little. A focused path toward Bond 40 is a common community recommendation because it reaches meaningful account-wide value sooner. This is the breadth-versus-focus trade-off: Formation Bonds make one active team stronger, while Manor Bonds improve the whole roster permanently.
When should I use Auto, and when should I control EX skills?
Each basic attack grants two EX value. At four EX value, that ally can use its EX skill. Auto battle is convenient for routine stages, but difficult fights reward manual timing so you can fire EX abilities when an enemy is vulnerable, a defender needs protection or a Supporter can turn a dangerous turn around.

A simple manual routine
- Watch the EX gauges as basic attacks resolve.
- Hold an EX skill if the current enemy is about to fall without it.
- Use defensive or support EX effects before the enemy’s high-damage turn.
- Trigger your main Attacker’s EX after buffs or a Formation Bond effect is active.
If Auto repeatedly loses a stage, switch to manual for the key turns rather than rebuilding the entire roster immediately.
What should I spend resources on early?
Spend first on the smallest team that can clear the next story threshold. Leveling every recruit creates a wide but weak roster and delays the systems that generate more resources.

- Priority one: your principal Attacker’s level, weapon and skill upgrades.
- Priority two: one Supporter’s survivability and enabling skills.
- Priority three: a Defender or complementary ally needed for your Formation Bond.
- Afterward: Alchemy Weapons and gear from NightWatcher Forum bounties, daily tasks and events.
Compare every purchase by immediate output versus account-wide value. A Formation Bond is best when you need to clear a current wall; Manor Bond levels are better when you want permanent improvement across future teams.
