What is known about his backstory?
The official Capcom overview does not give the Dragonforged a character biography, and the cited gameplay guide focuses on his quest and vendor functions. On this evidence, it is safest to describe him by what the player can do with him, not to present an inferred history or motivation as canon.
Keep him distinct from the Dragonforged in the original Dragon’s Dogma. The shared epithet is not enough to establish that the two characters have the same history or a confirmed continuity between them.
