What do the studies and reviews actually show?
DS Laboratories presents study summaries on its US product page. These are manufacturer-presented results, not independent confirmation that the current shampoo formula treats hair loss. The accessed product pages do not provide enough full methods and results to establish treatment efficacy, and several figures involve combinations with other products rather than Revita shampoo alone.
- The US page reports scalp oiliness reduced by 40.9% after two hours, citing Kosmoscience and March 2025.
- It reports up to 7.3% increased hair thickness and up to 16.5% increased hair density after 60 days for a combination with Spectral Men’s. The cited assessment is DSL011-24-B-1-R1, issue date 2025-06-23.
- For a combination with Dandrene plus Spectral Men’s, it reports up to 5.1% increased thickness and up to 20.8% increased density after 60 days, citing the same assessment.
Those company-reported combination findings should not be read as outcomes caused by Revita shampoo by itself. The UK page identifies a Perception Study dated 23 August 2010 and a Nanosome Study dated 18 November 2009, but the percentage fields displayed there appear as zeroes; they cannot be treated as meaningful efficacy figures.
