Their Ultimate Team items did not all arrive on that date: attackers were released January 17, midfielders January 19, and defenders and goalkeepers January 21. The full rosters were available in Football Ultimate Team from January 23 through January 31, 2025. These dates are historical, not an upcoming release schedule.
When did FC 25 TOTY release?
The reveal and in-game availability were separate milestones. EA announced both final XIs on January 16, 2025, then released their player items in position groups. EA’s announcement and schedule set out the following Ultimate Team rollout:

When did TOTY voting happen?
Voting opened January 6, 2025, and closed January 12 at 23:59 Pacific Time, according to Manchester City’s campaign announcement. That closing time was January 13 at 07:59 UTC, or 19:59 UK time and 08:59 Central European Time. The nominee pool featured more than 200 men’s and women’s players from 2024. The cited campaign article gives examples rather than reproducing the complete nominee list, so the names below should not be read as the full ballot.

What was included in FC Mobile TOTY?
EA’s announcement also gave a separate schedule for EA SPORTS FC Mobile. Its men’s TOTY roster started January 21, 2025; the event included three TOTY Chapters, special TOTY Icons and a dedicated TOTY Star Pass. EA listed attackers for February 13, midfielders for February 15, defenders for February 17, and March 6 as the event end date. This Mobile timing should not be confused with the Football Ultimate Team rollout on console and PC.

Which players were nominees but not necessarily final XI selections?
The nominee pool exceeded 200 players, but the available cited club article names only examples, not every nominee. Examples it identifies include Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, Lauren Hemp, Alex Greenwood, Yui Hasegawa and Jill Roord among women, and Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Rodri, Rúben Dias and Joško Gvardiol among men. Nomination did not itself mean selection in the final XI; EA announced the final 22 on January 16.

EA’s announcement included reactions from selected players. Two-time TOTY member Aitana Bonmatí called it “such a privilege” to be acknowledged and thanked voters. Jude Bellingham said being included alongside players he had watched growing up was “a great honour,” and Virgil van Dijk said he was proud and honoured to be voted in.
