Hero Combos are cooperative attacks in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes: each requires specific party members and spends SP. The reference below organizes the combos and their costs, targets and effects as listed in Gamer Guides’ guide, last updated May 22, 2024. That guide’s tables are the basis for the entries here; they are not a confirmation of the current game build.
How to use this Hero Combo list
The game is a strategic turn-based RPG built around party composition, formations and battle ranges. Hero Combos use named characters together, so having the required heroes is only part of planning an attack; party positioning and each combo’s target shape also matter. The official Eiyuden Chronicle site describes Hero Combo attacks as part of its battle tactics.
Gamer Guides groups combos by the number of participating characters and gives participant names, SP costs and effects. Some names have alternate participant configurations, so counting each listed configuration as a separate attack can inflate the total. A wiki result describes 49 unique attacks excluding variants, but that figure could not be independently checked against an accessible article here; treat it as a secondary-source count, not a verified in-game total.
Early-story combos
The guide identifies these two as combos unlocked through early story progression. This is a limited spoiler section; the later combinations below may reveal additional characters.
#1 Best Overall
- Fight thrilling & immersive turn-based battles that factor in the verticality & obstacles of dungeons when determining character and enemy placement. Take powerful bosses down a peg by caving in the ceiling or blasting them with devastating weapons.
| Combo | Required characters | SP | Target and effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Friendship Combo | Nowa, Seign | 1 | All enemies; Slash attack |
| Senior & Junior Combo | Nowa, Lian | 2 | One enemy; the guide lists it as an attack against a single target. |
Later combinations and larger-party attacks
The entries below include characters and combinations beyond the two early-story examples. The Gamer Guides tables group attacks by party size and may show alternate participant configurations under the same combo name. Consult the linked guide for its full table and exact effect wording; the available source material here verifies the following examples, not every row of that table.

| Heroes Combo | Nowa, Seign, Marisa | 2 | The guide’s cited example identifies the participants and cost; a complete target/effect description is not established here. |
| Rising Combo | Garoo, CJ, Isha | 2 | The guide’s cited example identifies the participants and cost; a complete target/effect description is not established here. |
| Big Sis Combo | Sabine, Hakugin, Reyna, Celia | 2 | The guide’s cited example identifies the participants and cost; a complete target/effect description is not established here. |

| Complete Heroes Combo | Nowa, Seign, Marisa, CJ, Garoo, Isha | 1 | All enemies; deals damage and raises party attack for three turns. |
The launch announcement describes a six-person turn-based battle context and says the game has “over 100 distinct characters.” That character count is not a Hero Combo count. See the official April 23, 2024 launch announcement.

When a combo is unavailable
Check the specific requirements before spending a turn on a combo:
- Required heroes: Confirm every named character is in the active party. A combo depends on its participants, not merely on having enough SP.
- Target range: A wiki result says combos cannot be used when a participant is outside the attack’s target range. Because that detail could not be checked against an accessible wiki article here, treat it as a troubleshooting lead and confirm it in the game rather than as a universal rule.
- Status effects: Gamer Guides warns that a six-person attack can be wasted if one of its participants is stunned before the turn. Consider the risk when committing a large group to one action.
- Formation and positioning: The official site identifies formation and combat ranges as parts of battle tactics. If an attack is unavailable, inspect party placement and the target before assuming the combo is missing or locked.
What the sources establish—and what they do not
The main combo guide was released April 22, 2024, and last updated May 22, 2024. It supplies the listed participant, cost and effect examples, but does not establish that every detail remains unchanged in later game versions. The official site provides general battle context; it does not supply a complete combo-by-combo database.

- Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values. By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.
- Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further. It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends.
