How to clear the Equilibrious Beast raid
Find the marked location
Available raid coverage describes Libra appearing randomly as a Demon Merchant, applying a curse that lowers maximum HP, and marking the merchant’s location on the map. When the curse appears, open the map and travel to that marker. No reliable spawn schedule or method to force the event is established, so check the map rather than planning around a fixed time.

Pay the Demon Merchant to remove the curse
Interact with the merchant at the marked location and pay to lift the max-HP curse. The price is not established as universal; it may depend on the current game version and expedition day. Do not assume the field merchant’s terms are the same as optional deals offered in the Nightlord boss arena.

How the raid fits into an Expedition
The raid is a field event, not the final Libra boss encounter. Bandai Namco Europe’s Official Starter Guide, published 17 June 2025, describes the standard Expedition as two in-game days of exploration with mandatory night-boss encounters, followed by a third-day Nightlord showdown. The guide says the game is primarily balanced for cooperative multiplayer sessions with two other players. Coordinate with your group and keep the shrinking safe area in mind, but the raid descriptions do not establish a fixed timer or a guaranteed route to the marker.

Libra, Creature of Night: the separate boss fight
If you are looking for the final fight rather than the field raid, Libra, Creature of Night is the Nightlord at the end of the Equilibrious Beast Expedition. Guides report that Libra is weak to Madness, but treat that as an advantage when the right equipment appears—not a requirement for winning. Madness gear can be rare, and the fight includes hazardous area attacks.
Use safe openings and avoid overcommitting
Watch for attack cues and hazardous ground effects, then favor short attacks during safe openings over long combos that leave you exposed. Game8 recommends hit-and-run tactics, collecting Madness crystals, and breaking or interrupting a dangerous channel when feasible. Raider’s Totem Stela may provide elevation or shelter against some attacks, according to the guide; it is a situational option, not a guaranteed answer to every area attack.
Make use of Madness damage when available
If you find Madness equipment or Frenzied Flame options during the Expedition, they can take advantage of Libra’s reported weakness. Do not build your whole plan around finding them: the available guides warn that suitable gear may not appear. Keep using safe attack windows and respond to the arena hazards even when your damage setup is ordinary.

Everdark Sovereign Libra
The Everdark Sovereign version adds encounter modifiers; PC Gamer describes summoned Condemned among them. The specific modifiers may vary, so respond to what the encounter actually adds rather than treating any list as exhaustive.
- Deal with summoned Condemned promptly. Clearing them reduces the extra pressure while you handle Libra.
- Use Madness resistance if available. Clarifying Boluses are one reported option.
- Consider another damage type. Holy or Fire damage are reported alternatives if Madness gear does not appear.
These are guide recommendations, and the relevant modifiers and useful equipment can be version-sensitive.
