Bandai Namco released three Elden Ring Nightreign updates in June 2025. The June 10 patch, App Ver. 1.01.2, fixed seven reported issues; a later June 18 patch, App Ver. 1.01.3, raised the chance of finding weapons that inflict madness and addressed additional bugs. The app and regulation versions differ, so check both when confirming an update.
June 10 update: what changed in App Ver. 1.01.2
Bandai Namco’s June 10, 2025 patch notes list App Ver. 1.01.2 and Regulation Ver. 1.01.3 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The update fixes seven reported issues:

- A bow passive effect could make physical attack power higher than intended.
- Some attacks from weapon skills that did not directly hit an enemy could apply weapon attack power and status ailments.
- Weapons with a projectile damage drop-off passive effect were missing from chests and enemy loot.
- The Demon Merchant could fail to appear during a Guardian remembrance objective.
- Libra could repeat certain actions.
- The battle against Adel could become unstable.
- A player near death after being grabbed by a Wormface could not be rescued.
The publisher cautioned that similar bugs could still occur under some conditions. The notes do not quantify the fixes or report performance measurements.
June 18 update: App Ver. 1.01.3
The later June release is documented in Bandai Namco’s June 18, 2025 patch notes. It lists App Ver. 1.01.3 and Regulation Ver. 1.01.4 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

Balance change
The update increased the chance of obtaining weapons with the madness status ailment. The notes give no numerical drop-rate change.
Gameplay and bug fixes
The patch also addressed Guardian Whirlwind visibility with a specific relic effect; Demon Merchant spawning near the Night’s Tide; Ironeye’s Marking damage against weak points; Lightning damage nullification; Ultimate Art gauge fill; a bow and crossbow relic effect; merchant weapon rune pricing; losses after reviving near death against Nightlords; multiplayer camera angle; and character phantoms. Staff information was added to the game credits.

A separate fix for momentary or extended freezes in some environments is marked Steam-only. The June 18 notes also say the update is required for online play.
How to check the versions and apply the update
The app version and regulation version are separate labels. For the June 10 update, the pair is App Ver. 1.01.2 / Regulation Ver. 1.01.3; for June 18, it is App Ver. 1.01.3 / Regulation Ver. 1.01.4.

- On consoles, log in to obtain the regulation file, then check the title screen for the relevant Regulation Ver. number.
Both June patch notices list PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Only the freezing fix in the June 18 notes is explicitly limited to Steam.

The month began with App Ver. 1.01.1, announced in Bandai Namco’s June 2, 2025 patch notes. It added “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat” once per Night Boss battle in solo expeditions, increased runes earned in solo expeditions, adjusted high-rarity Relic rewards, and included a broad set of bug fixes.
For context, the publisher’s May 29, 2025 version 1.01 notice described the first patch as a set of gameplay and stability improvements, with changes to character handling, soundtrack and text, balance, character scenarios, and bugs. It also included PC troubleshooting for launch failures and frame-rate drops.
