Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteIf Enlisted crashes on your PC, start with low-risk checks: note when it happens, compare your PC with the game’s current requirements, check the installation and graphics driver, and test a different renderer only if your launcher offers one. These steps are not guaranteed fixes; the right path depends on whether the game exits at startup, during loading, or in a match, and whether it displays an error.
Before you troubleshoot: identify the crash pattern
Write down whether Enlisted closes during startup, loading, or a match; copy any error message; note recent changes to the game, Windows, drivers, or security software; and record whether you can reproduce the crash. This is not a fix, but it helps you tell whether a change made a difference and gives support a useful starting point.
For official technical resources, Gaijin’s Enlisted support area includes entries for system requirements, outdated-driver errors, and crash information.
Try these eight troubleshooting steps
1. Compare your PC with the current requirements
Open Gaijin’s system requirements support article and follow its link to the live Enlisted requirements page. The support article itself does not list hardware specifications, so check the current page rather than relying on a copied or outdated minimum.

2. Check the game installation
A January 31, 2026 Enlisted forum discussion includes a community suggestion to check the game files. Use the file-check or repair option available in your game launcher, if it provides one. Treat this as a troubleshooting attempt, not an official guarantee: a community reply does not establish that damaged files are the cause of every crash.
3. Check for a graphics-driver issue
Gaijin’s support area includes help for outdated-driver errors, and a community reply also recommends updating graphics drivers. Check the official driver channel for your graphics-card maker and install a driver appropriate for your GPU and operating system. Avoid treating a driver update as a confirmed cure if your crash has another cause.

4. Test the renderer setting, if available
A developer post dated May 31, 2024 described DirectX 11 as the default and DirectX 12 as selectable in the launcher. That information is time-sensitive: first check what your current launcher actually offers. If it lets you choose DX11 or DX12, test one option at a time and record whether the crash timing or repeatability changes. The post does not establish that DX12 is inherently more stable.
For the renderer background and the developer’s dated information, see the Enlisted developer post on DirectX 12.

5. Run a controlled antivirus diagnostic only if appropriate
For crashes without an error message, Gaijin’s support procedure asks players to temporarily disable antivirus protection and attempt to reproduce the crash. This is a diagnostic test, not a permanent setting: only do it briefly, avoid unrelated downloads or browsing while protection is off, then restore protection immediately and note which security software you tested and what happened.
6. Reproduce the crash using Gaijin’s collection procedure
If the crash persists, follow Gaijin’s exact instructions for using the debugger, repeating the actions that trigger the crash, and saving the requested dump. The steps are specific, so use the support article rather than improvising: Gaijin’s Enlisted support resources list crash-information guidance. For the dedicated procedure, open Taking necessary steps and collecting information in case of crashes without error messages.

7. Prepare a useful bug report
Include the crash timing, the exact error text or that there was no message, steps to reproduce it, relevant recent changes, and the system details and files Gaijin requests. Attach the collected dump if the support instructions call for it. Gaijin’s article says: “If the game crashes without any error messages, you need to submit a bug report as described in this article: Bug reports, and also take the following steps:” Follow its linked bug-report instructions for the submission route and required details.
8. Change one thing at a time and keep a short record
After each check or setting change, repeat the same action that previously triggered the crash and record the result. Changing one variable at a time—such as the renderer—makes it easier to see whether behavior changed. If the crash remains, include this record in your report instead of repeating the same checks without new evidence.

How to handle crashes with no error message
A silent exit has a specific official path: submit a bug report and follow Gaijin’s debugger-based collection procedure. The support article covers reproducing the crash and collecting a dump; use its exact directions and include the requested files. The temporary antivirus test is one diagnostic in that workflow, not a reason to leave protection disabled.
What the available evidence does—and does not—show
These are sensible checks, not eight independently validated cures. Gaijin’s support materials establish where to find requirements, driver help, and crash-reporting guidance; the file-check suggestion is anecdotal, and the renderer information dates to May 2024. The sources do not establish a current game-wide crash incident or a single cause that applies to all PCs. Match the troubleshooting step to your symptom and use the official report process if the crash continues.
