Envasion, the 2023 downloadable arcade-action game from brutalsoft and Phoenix Reborn Games, is scheduled to be permanently removed from the Xbox Store on October 30, 2026. The Xbox listing still shows a $4.99 price for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Buy it before the deadline if you want a new license; people who already own the game are reported to retain access through their Xbox library after the sale listing disappears.
Phoenix Reborn Games announced the decision jointly with brutalsoft but did not provide a reason. The game has no reported physical edition, and claims about a Steam version are contradictory and currently unverified.

Which Xbox game is being removed on October 30?
The game is Envasion, a top-down shooting title released on June 21, 2023. Microsoft lists Phoenix Reborn Games as publisher and brutalsoft as developer. It supports single-player play, Xbox achievements and Xbox cloud saves on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Phoenix Reborn Games’ announcement says: “We’d like to let you know that Envasion will be delisted from the Xbox Store on October 30, 2026.” The statement thanks players and says the decision was made with the developer, but does not identify licensing, technical or commercial circumstances behind it.

Can I still buy Envasion before the delisting?
Yes. The Microsoft Xbox Store listing researched for this report still displays Envasion at $4.99 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. That is the listed price in 2026, not a guaranteed future price or a recurring subscription offer.
- Open the Xbox Store on an Xbox console or through Microsoft’s Xbox storefront.
- Search for Envasion and confirm that brutalsoft and Phoenix Reborn Games appear on the product page.
- Complete the purchase before October 30, 2026, while the buy option remains available.
- After purchase, check your library and download the game to a compatible Xbox console. Cloud-save support is listed by Microsoft, but your console still needs to download the game data to play it.
A delisting can occur at any point on the announced date, and storefront timing may vary by region or platform interface. Do not wait until the final hours if you intend to buy it.

Owners are reported to keep access through their Xbox library after October 30. Delisting stops new sales; it does not normally remove a license already attached to an Xbox account. You should still keep the game in your purchase history and use the same Microsoft account when reinstalling.

How does Envasion play, and what is included?
Microsoft describes a single-player, top-down shooter built around repeated combat, weapon upgrades and score-driven action. The store description highlights tanks and an arsenal that includes guns, bombs and missiles. Xbox achievements and cloud saves are listed capabilities.
The game is a downloadable release rather than a boxed product. MobyGames classifies its media as downloadable, and the delisting report says no physical release was produced.

Will Envasion be available physically after the Xbox delisting?
No physical edition has been reported. That means there is no confirmed disc or cartridge that can serve as a normal retail alternative after the digital listing disappears. Used-copy searches may produce unrelated results or misleading listings, so verify any offer against an official edition before paying.
Why the lack of a physical copy matters
A physical release can preserve a way to install a game independently of a storefront’s sales page. Envasion’s reported download-only format leaves Xbox account ownership and Microsoft’s delivery infrastructure as the dependable access route for buyers who purchase before the deadline.
Is Envasion on Steam?
Steam availability is unresolved. One report says the game would remain purchasable on Steam, while another part of that same report says Xbox is currently the only place to buy it and that the game would become unavailable after the Xbox delisting. A search also surfaced an unrelated game called Invasion: Phoenix, not a verified Envasion listing.

Until brutalsoft, Phoenix Reborn Games or Steam provides a direct, matching product page, treat a supposed PC listing as unconfirmed. Do not assume that an similarly named game is the same title or that an Xbox purchase transfers to PC.
What is known about the delisting decision?
The date and publisher announcement are clear; the reason is not. Phoenix Reborn Games gave no specific explanation, and the October 24, 2026 report from ComicBook.com likewise did not identify one. Possible causes such as expiring rights or low sales would be speculation, so none can be presented as fact.

Can I reinstall Envasion on a new Xbox after it is delisted?
The reported policy is that existing owners retain access through their Xbox library, which should allow redownloading on a compatible console using the purchasing account. Keep in mind that this does not create a new purchase right for other accounts.
Does buying Envasion on Xbox include a PC copy?
The available listing identifies Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S support only. No verified Xbox-to-PC entitlement or cross-buy offer has been established.
