A cryptic Reddit clue first led a December 20 Notebookcheck report to guess TerraTech Worlds, but the community leaker later revised the prediction toward TerraTech. The promotion has ended.

Epic gave away TerraTech from December 21 to December 22, 2024, according to retrospective holiday giveaway coverage. Wizard of Legend followed, starting December 22. The December 21 game was not TerraTech Worlds. (PCGamesN’s holiday giveaway schedule)

Why did the leak point to TerraTech Worlds?
On December 20, Notebookcheck interpreted a Reddit clue as a possible reference to TerraTech Worlds. The post by Reddit user u/MeguminShiro included “TW,” a globe, car emojis, tools and a pickaxe—imagery that could suggest a vehicle-building game about exploration and gathering resources. Notebookcheck characterized the identification as an inference: the leaker had not explicitly confirmed TerraTech Worlds. (Notebookcheck’s December 20 report; the Reddit clue thread)
How the prediction changed
In the Reddit thread, u/MeguminShiro later described the prediction as a 50/50 and said, “So expect the game being TerraTech one instead of the Worlds one.” That was the leaker’s informal revised guess, not an announcement from Epic. Notebookcheck’s report was updated to reflect the change. The revised prediction matched the eventual giveaway: the original TerraTech. (Notebookcheck; Reddit thread)
