To complete the A Realm Reborn Sightseeing Log, register all 80 vistas by reaching each listed spot at the required Eorzea time and weather, then using its specified emote. Unlock the log with the level 20 quest A Sight to Behold in New Gridania after Sylph-management. The complete location table below is not available in the supplied material, so it would be misleading to invent the missing entries; the linked Icy Veins guide provides the full 1–80 reference.
Unlock the A Realm Reborn sightseeing log
- Complete the main scenario quest Sylph-management.
- At level 20 or higher, accept A Sight to Behold from Naoh Gamduhla in New Gridania (X:11, Y:13). See Square Enix’s quest database and the Patch 2.28 notes for the unlock details.
- Open the Sightseeing Log from Main Menu → Logs. The first 20 vistas must be completed before entries 21–80 unlock, according to the Icy Veins sightseeing guide.
How to register a vista
For each entry, match the listed location, Eorzea time window, weather, and emote. Being nearby is not enough: Square Enix warns that some vistas register only at an exact spot and can require careful jumping or sprinting. If a view does not register, check the conditions and positioning rather than repeating the emote in the general area.

When a location lists Fair Skies or Clear Skies, either weather qualifies under the Patch 2.3 change described in the Icy Veins guide.

The complete reference has four groups: 1–20, 21–40, 41–60, and 61–80. Each row needs its vista name, zone, coordinates, weather, Eorzea-time window, emote, and any route warning. Only a few rows are available in the source material here, so a partial table would leave most of the requested locations unusable. Can you fly to the sightseeing locations?
Mount flight became available in eligible A Realm Reborn zones after completing The Ultimate Weapon in Patch 5.3. It can make some approaches easier, but does not remove every obstacle or replace the exact-location requirement.
