The publisher described it as containing over two hours of content, including the opening prologue during Clive’s adolescence, as well as a separate Eikonic Challenge mode. “Over two hours” is the publisher’s description of the demo, not a guaranteed playtime for every player.

Can you transfer demo progress to the full game?
Yes, with conditions. Square Enix Support says demo save data can continue into the full game, but an existing full-game save blocks the transfer. If you have already created a full-game save, the support page says you must delete it before transferring further demo progress.
- Transfer before creating a full-game save. Existing full-game save data prevents the demo save transfer.
- Do not expect excess demo experience to carry over. Experience earned after reaching a demo level cap or progression limit is not stored for transfer.
- On Steam Deck, enable Steam Cloud for both versions. The transfer relies on Steam Cloud with the demo and full game cloud saves enabled.
