Yes. Final Fantasy XVI shadow dropped on Xbox on June 8, 2025: Square Enix announced the launch and made the game available digitally that same day for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC.
When did Final Fantasy XVI come to Xbox?
The Xbox release date was June 8, 2025. Xbox Wire announced the game as available “today” in a story published that day, and Square Enix’s North American announcement also said the digital launch was available starting June 8. The US Xbox Store listing records the same release date. Because announcement and availability landed on the same day, “shadow dropped” is an accurate description of the launch timing.
